In short, I believe Liam had an argument with estate agents in the hotel, they got into a brawl and were arrested. I think Alan white may have been there too with others from the oasis wider circle. I think it was December 2002.

You mean the fight in the “Bayrischen Hof“ in Munich, or not?

www.britannica.com/place/Germany-Year-In-Review-2002As for Oasis: At the time, police said a "physical altercation" broke out among the musicians at about 0200 local time. That led to one of the group being "jostled" and falling onto the table of five Italian guests - causing the fight, they said. The fight continued outside, where "one of the officers was kicked in the chest with full force by Liam Gallagher... and suffered minor injuries", they said. Police said Gallagher kicked an officer in the chest and had large amounts of alcohol and drugs - possibly cocaine - in his blood. news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/4032185.stmThanks Liam, was a great trip to Munich for me

Does anybody know the full story? guigsysEstring I can't find the post, but I remember you already anwsered and described it in detail. Apparently the fight broke out between Liam and German businessmen. It was December 2002 when an altercation between Liam Gallagher and two other band members led to the police being called which saw Liam arrested for bodily harm, trespass and material damage after kicking a police officer in the ribs. The incident took place at Bayerischer Hof.'s nightclub and did not involve Noel Gallagher, with the initial police report stating it was against "Five Italians" whilst contradicting this the official Oasis website stated "Several members of Oasis and their entourage were the victims of an unprovoked attack by a group of youths in a Munich club." Both reports however mentioned Liam's facial injuries, with German police quoted as saying "The boy didn't look good. Several of his teeth were punched out," (Munich police spokesperson Christoph Reichenbach)- Billboard Magazine December 2002 . Reportedly Munich Police deployed 80 officers in 10 vans to restore order- Daily Record & Sunday The Razz 2004 The fight happened on 1st December 2002 with police at the time indicating Gallagher, Allen White, Steven Allen and Philip Bevan Smith were beaten after insulting a group of mafia-linked locals. The men had booked their table at the nightclub under the name of Matera, a local criminal with a reputation which led police to follow the wrong leads for a while. By early 2004 investigations into the assault found that the attackers were actually four estate agents and a computer programmer, not the gangsters as originally sought out. Liam was accused of being "totally drunk" and using cocaine prior to the incident, whilst his five attackers were facing charges of Grievous Bodily Harm after a fight that destroyed much of the nightclub furniture. Their lawyers were reportedly angry that Liam & Co. might not face court even though Liam had attacked a police officer and his party had started the incident, with one lawyer quoted as saying "We feel their fame will allow them to get off, even though they started everything". Liam Gallagher was also facing proceedings with Munich Chief Prosecutor Anton Winkler quoted as saying "He was the worst one in the entire episode. He assaulted a police officer who was trying to pull other people apart. If proceedings are brought he could face a fine or suspended sentence." He added blood tests after the arrest showed alcohol and cocaine use but none of the drug was found in Liam's possession. The leader of the five attackers was stated to have knocked two Oasis bodyguards out with a brass standing ashtray after Liam & co. started the fight by flicking peanuts at the group. Liam was fined €50,000 for his part in the fracas on top of an initial bail turned fine of £170,000 that led to the ongoing Germany tour being cancelled as Liam flew home for emergency dental treatment- Scotsman May 2004 and BBC November 2004
The Heathen Chemistry Tour resumed at Cardiff International Arena on 9th December 2002 with Liam dedicating 'Live Forever' to his new teeth- BBC December 2002 A search of Munich court records turned up nothing on his attackers so unless my searching is impaired by language difficulties I assume the matter for the other parties were settled before court action. Hopefully this answers yours and @tjalke questions uǝɥʇɐǝɥ , the sources are all there although courtesy of a dodgy phone screen are not in order so apologies for that.

I think Steven Allen also had to pay a fine of 8.000 euros because he put his pants down in front of some woman.

An article from Munich based newspaper "Süddeutsche Zeitung" ( www.sueddeutsche.de/muenchen/oasis-und-die-pruegelei-der-dicken-lippe-widerfaehrt-gerechtigkeit-1.740022) also states that there was a funny incident. They wrote the DJ played at one point an Oasis song being unaware of Oasis members having drinks inside the club. Liam and Allen apparently jumped on some kind of stage and started to mimic their own song - something unacceptable in this noble night club. Liam and Philip Bevan Smith were also under the influence of cocaine.

I remember the theory that Liam ousted Alan from the band because Liam couldnt stand that Alan had witnessed him getting pasted with a chair and Liam didnt like the idea of someone knowing he wasnt so macho as he puts across.
as Ive pointed out before, Liam never sounded the same after this incident, might be abit stupid to put this down as a reason for his voice degradation but I guess it couldve been what with him having to have dental treatment etc.

Can you imagine how much that would hurt? Combined with waking up in a prison cell with a hangover / comedown?

He has never admitted it to anyone, but this attack left him with permanent facial pain when he tries to sing at volume. This is the real reason why he often screams profanities at the end of lines, such as "Champage-super-ugly-vagina!!!" He doesn't have Tourette's, he's actually in excruciating pain and feels like someone is parking a car on his face. But he soldiers on without complaint for the sake of the fans

Say cheers! I believe the first photo of Liam being thrown out of a club is not the German incident, it was taken in London earlier in 2002 just before the release of Hindu times or HC. Great photo ...although obviously I don't condone the violence! :-)

He was going to lose his golden pipes from the 90s regardless. He lost his two front teeth. Not his vocal box.
