This ranges from those bands you couldn't care about to the ones you outright despise.
I don't dislike them, but I've never really cared for Keane, just a bit too dull with their obsession with 'reach the sky' choruses that never get off the ground - but I can't deny they've got some great tunes I love. Spiralling, Nothing In My Way and Everybody's Changing are tunes that I dig.
Ten years ago I was pretty big on Kasabian, these days I despise them though, primarily through the fact they're wankers and that they've released nothing but embarrassing shite over the last ten years - but I still love many of the songs on their debut (and a couple from the follow up). Outstanding songs like Club Foot, LSF, Reason Is Treason, Empire from the second one.... in fact, these were all the kind of tunes Oasis should have been making in the 2000s, if they had any balls to deviate from their mid tempo beige rock rut.
Nirvana - Come As You Are. A band that are immensely talented but a bit too grim for my liking but this one has a great chorus and an addictive riff to it.

Anything by Billy Joel, The Eagles and Bon Jovi. I thank my father for not ever listening to this nonsense while I was growing up. His record collection was boss: Beatles, Lennon, Harrison, Neil Young, The Animals & Fleetwood Mac.

It has a very clean sound. I'm sure Cobain hated it, hence why In Utero is such a mind fuck go guitars and dense production. I'll stand behind songs like: Smells Like Teen Spirit, In Bloom, Lithium, Polly, Drain You, Something In The Way.

I feel same about Kasabian, matt. I don't dislike Editors, but I'm just not interested in them. I even came back home without seeing them last November (I went to see the support act), but I think "Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors" is a great song.

There are quite a few rap songs I dig, but I despise everything about the genre in general.

Probably some hair metal bands. There are lots of songs I like but I just can't like the bands.
Well, some bands are okay but I absolutely hate bands like Mötley Crue. Why Mötley Crue? Because their idiot singer literally killed Hanoi Rocks, first Finnish band that had chance to become one of the most popular rock bands in the world.

I can't stand Richard Ashcroft's solo career because his songs are either blandly generic, overly polished/drenched in strings, too long (and not in a charming BHN way), or some mess of all three, but I do like these tunes:
New York C'mon People (We're Making It Now) Lord I've Been Trying
The rest can fuck right off. Though the demos he recorded with the Verve minus Nick McCabe before the release of Urban Hymns are class. Especially the early version of A Song for the Lovers. Dare I say those demos shit all over his solo albums?

Sonnet, The Drugs Don't Work, Bittersweet Symphony, History, etc would have been great songs without McCabe. The melodies are just too good.

Went to see them once at a festival, with the idea of "why not?" and it was one of the best performances of anyone I've ever seen. They absolutely killed it live.

As for this thread, I don't really care for Bruno Mars, but I really like Uptown Funk.
Can't stand Robin Thicke, but I like When I Get You Alone, that Magic song and Blurred Lines. Yes, I am aware of the fact ot's a ridiculous song.

The Black Keys - Gotta Get Away
David Bowie - Heroes (Just don't dig his music, but that's a damn good song).
Insane Clown Posse - The Great Milenko
Need To Breathe - Washed By The Water (Dislike christian music, but this one is good)
Radiohead - Creep (Can't stand them)
Rob Zombie - Dragula and Living Dead Girl (Not really a fan, but I like these two)
Wiz Khalifa - See You Again

I agree with above - Love Yourself is a tune
Nickelback - How you remind me
Taylor Swift - We are never ever blah blah
Take that- Patience
These are songs that have really good songwriting involved.
I would put a few Linkin Park songs bit I don't hate them!
