If Anton Newcombe were working with Liam I would put the money down for 10 copies right now.

If Anton Newcombe were working with Liam I would put the money down for 10 copies right now. Yeah! Well, allthough I value Newcombe as an artist, I don't like his cultish behaviour and I don't think Liam would like to have anything to do with him. Musically it would be a perfect match! They would have to release the record on Newcombe's label though.

Jay Mehler? I have no idea if he is doing anything at the moment. He and Liam seemed quite close the short time he was in Beady Eye and he was part of the "supergroup" when Liam duetted with Roger Daltrey. Of course, that might just have been through Zak Starkey, his brother-in-law.

If he wants to be in a band with his brother, why not with Paul Gallagher?

I really hope Bonehead is involved (at least live).

Oh well, yeah Digsy Deary is also still improbable but possible candidate.

I really hope Bonehead is involved (at least live). Bonehead should design the artwork. His idea to submerge a Rolls for the Be Here Now cover was a masterstroke.

If he wants to be in a band with his brother, why not with Paul Gallagher? Paul can take care of the catering.

Not read the full interview but doesn't he refer to them as 'lads he knows'?? If it was bonehead surely he would of said 'mate
Could be serge from kasabian!? 😂
I hope it is someone fairly current though to get him in the public eye, rather than someone from the small faces or something

I can see him playing some gigs in the UK and maybe one in Belgium, Italy, Germany and France but I doubt that he will go to the US.

Yeah, I am a bit of a BJM fan. Although on reflection when Anton is involved it could be inspired or an utter disaster. Who would you like him to work with?

I don't necessarily think having someone like, for example, Paul Weller working with you, means that it'll turn out great. I know who I WOULDN'T like him to work with though

I live in Australia and I highly doubt he would come all the way down here... If the songs are good and the gigs are good, id be very tempted to go to the UK to see him. I was meant to go to Europe back in July but post phoned it so I could work on my business. But I couldn't think of a better excuse!! That would be crazy lol

I really loved Pete Yorn's first album - definitely wore that thing out. Of note is the fact that both of his brothers are powerhouses in the music/film world.

Liam should team up with Billy Boyd. Different style vocals, but I think they could harmonize. Their songwriting is very similar to one another.

I think Dan Auerbach would be a perfect choice: he's a great open minded musician and producer. I saw Dan playing with his side project (The Arcs) this year and I really enjoyed the band's atmosphere.
