It wasn't dull dull dull BUT when it was dull, it was dull (Talk Tonight, The Mexican). But when it was great (Town Called Malice, Supernova with Marr, Don't Look Back In Anger) it was biblical. Push comes to shove, and in context that I love NGHFB's two albums deeply and more than most Oasis albums, I miss Oasis GIGS still and I don't think I'll ever get over the loss!

Amazing gig! Took a cheeky setlist home too :-)

Do you think he won't play DLBIA at some point? I know it's one of the highlights of his gigs but I can imagine it would be boring for him to play it every concert. Even more with Wonderwall. Why does he still play that one?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a great time was had by all at the gig tonight, and I'm sure Noel was brilliant but come on, not even a change to the set list for the final gig, I mean I know it was to be expected but it's just so boring and no, the two Weller songs don't count.

Why does he still play that one? Beats me. I mean I used to love it, sung drunk to it, adored it (never keen on wonderwall as much)...but god it's so boring to hear them live now. But Noel seems to love it and obviously the crowd always return the love....so I get it....just hate it. During wonderwall I always sing DYKWIM lyrics. Just coz.

Yeah had a great time. Noel was good. To be fair Marr on nova sounded great (i am no marr fan at all as it goes). And wheeling out Weller was predictable and already sounded over done (despite only 2nd night he appeared)

I agree with you, and it is indeed pretty dull if you see it from our perspective, as we are fans who spend time following at least virtually a big part of the tour But I genuinely enjoyed the gig I went to last year and a 20 seconds clip of Champagne Supernova tonight made me feel so excited just at the thought of him coming back to Italy at some point (even though it might be two years)...I understand that might be down to me loving many of the songs in the set, Noel himself and the atmosphere of his (Italian) gigs A LOT tho I still hope a few rarities will be played when he tours again, alongside with the new stuff and the obvious stuff And don't ever talk about DLBIA being cut out of the set, something magical happens every time that song is performed and I wanna experience it as much as possible

Noel doesn't it cut for me live...after seeing him a few times I won't go see him again unless he has some masterpieces on the next record. He's boring....love him but boring as fuck.
That trailer however is fuckin epic

Why does he still play that one? Err..because it's his signature song, one of the highlights of his gigs, it's fucking epic, euphoric and everybody knows it and is able to sing along? Would be similar to Paul McCartney cutting Hey Jude out.

if he wants to play dlbia every fucking time, he should play it like he did in '96, not this watered down capo-4th-fret-version. same goes for champagne supernova. what's the point in having marr on stage with you if you pussy down this epic song like he does?

Oh dear, the capo haters are at it again. By the way, he doesn't use any capo during DLBIA.
