What I like about Liam's voice is that somehow it sounds good even when he's off and out of key. He has that interesting timbre that makes it exciting in any circumstances. Morrissey and Ian Brown had the same quality to their voices. They were all out of key many, many, many times, but they still sounded good. It's crazy how many amazing vocalists there were in Manchester in the 80s-90s.

The only part that confused me was having 'Once' on this setlist. The only live performance I've heard for this song was the recent BBC session. Maybe it's from that performance.

Liam is now only 5 oasis songs away from playing more oasis songs in his solo career than Noel.
This has taken Liam a little over 2 years, whereas Noel has been solo with HFB for almost 8 years.
Noel - 27 Liam - 23

You know I'm a Liam man pal but I'm not sure I'd call Noel's latest tour dull... I thought it was excellent with the new band.

He has a massive back catalogue to pick from and he picks the same ones over and over again which is why I haven't bothered the last couple times. I should of worded the above post better.

😂😂😂 Shock at NME HQ as Liam Gallagher keeps an opinion to himself August 6, 2019 Written by Andrew Cox There has been shock and confusion at NME headquarters today following the revelation Liam Gallagher has nothing to say regarding Noels latest single, leaving confused NME staff with nothing to publish and the website blank. NME Employee Simon Williams was quoted as saying “We haven’t actually written an article since 2008, all we post is tweets from artists who sound made up, and the opinions of the Gallaghers brothers. “So when Liam offered ‘no comment’ after being asked about his brothers new single, we went into meltdown.” Radio X suffered a similar fate when they lost their Oasis CDs in May of last year, leaving the airwaves silent for 25 minutes until they broke the glass over the emergency copy of ‘Be Here Now’ which are they are still playing on repeat at the time of writing. It is hoped that Billie Eilish will tweet something in the next few hours so NME has something to post. newsthump.com/2019/08/06/shock-at-nme-hq-as-liam-gallagher-keeps-an-opinion-to-himself/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

a compilación of several acoustic performances of Beady eye/liam solo SHould arguably have included that quite nice performance of FWIW on Howards Stern Still annoys me that he sounded that good on a virtually unheard performance for a US Radio station. Typical Liam though i suppose.

He sounded the best in 2017 (in recent years) I think. Not bad at all now, but those 17 gigs he was on top. I went to Les Ardentes in july 17, there's some songs on youtube, best I've heard him sound live ever I think. (and Ive been to Oasis gigs since summer 2002).

Shockwave would sound great in Peaky Blinders, I'm picturing Arthur smashing up the pub of some unfortunate group who dared to rally against his right honourable Tommy Shelby.

I can see Cillian walking up to the Houses of Parliament backed by “Now I’m back in the city; the lights are up on me.” Yes, it’s all about who you know.

For What It's Worth is still Liams greatest song.
Classic for me.

This version of I'm Outta Time. His voice was so good there. The band nailed it too. Amazing version imo.
