I don't remember there being a lot of female Beady Eye fans, apart from some of the male fans who acted like little girls; seems to be quite a few LÃam solo female fans.... God bless. He’s sexy again now.

He’s sexy again now. I think it's more a case of LÃam's name reaching further.....I prefer Beady Eye to LÃam solo, which isn't saying much because Beady Eye weren't great. I've listened to LÃam's solo album in several versions of non-sobriety; in several versions of auditory - and don't get it..... Thanks.

It'd be nice if Noël would just write the bongs for LÃam - not be in a band or tour together, just write the bongs.....because no one needs to hear shit like 'Wall of Cats' or 'For What It's Worth' again.....
Thanks.

There’s nowhere’s to run.... And even if I did slip through the lines to make it home I’m still not suiting up for that cuddle party

I’ve always ignored the ridiculous Liam vs. Noel debates but does AS You Were and Finsbury + everything else make Liam bigger, more successful and famous than Noel now? OR are they around the same so you think? It’s an interesting discussion considering 2 years ago Liam was dead in the water

OR are they around the same so you think? It’s an interesting discussion considering 2 years ago Liam was dead in the water Liam has always had a much bigger public persona than Noel. Even without music to support it. As far as success goes... it's hard to quantify a single successful album cycle vs. three such releases. In short, their both doing well for themselves... just in different ways/styles.

Yeah your right, Liam has always been popular with the fans. I think a big reason for this is due to the fact that he speaks to the people and is very relatable.
I still think As You Were is better than all NGHFB albums combined and most oasis records for that matter. Its one of my favourite records ever. I almost never listen to Noel to be honest. Im not even a huge Noel fan anymore, I used to be but he's changed in the past 5 years, for the worse. Liam has stayed the same, if anything his personality has got better after the failure of Beady Eye you can tell he really values his success and fans and actually cares. His comeback has been nothing short of phenomenal. Cant wait for album two

I’m certainly enjoying the live shows especially.
Glasto and Reading 2017 were magical, watching the comeback happen in real time.
But all of it is anchored with As You Were, a really strong record that happily sits next to peak Oasis for me.

Yeah I remember at one of the first London Beady Eye gigs it was all male audience bar one or two girlfriends who were dragged along. But at Finsbury the place was swarming with girls. Using his name, the media coverage, radio play and a new generation discovering the Oasis back catalogue on Spotify is the answer I guess.

Defo see a lot of girls aged between 23-25 who wouldn't have even been old enough to be into Oasis in the DBTT era.

Get on these vocals. Absolutely mint! This version of Spaceman is wicked, seemed to hit every note with ease. Good tune for the diehard oasis fans for sure

Fingers crossed for Sad Song next If he does sing Sad Song, it would be cool if he did all the high notes like on the record (as opposed to how he sings it in the Supersonic doc). Never say never...

Fingers crossed for Sad Song next Hopefully next album cycle he gets a shot at an acoustic gig like an MTV unplugged sort of thing. Would love to hear sad song, spaceman, married with children, I’m outta time, little James etc.

Would love to hear sad song, spaceman, married with children, I’m outta time, little James etc. Yeah definitely. For me the sweet spot is gigs like Radio X on the rooftop. He just never seems that comfortable doing really intimate acoustic only gogs no matter how good he sounds so stripped back full band would be best. With settings like that you get the sweeter tone he uses for acoustic gigs with a bit of gravel and power, it's as close to how he sounds in the studio as you can get. But yeah, would be even better if he pulls out some rarer stuff. Hopefully the reaction he's getting encourages him to dip further into the back catalogue

I just rewatched this gig, this is one of the best "Wonderwall" renditions ever! (One of the best 2017/2018 gigs in general i think)
I also believe that an acoustic gig like MTV Unplugged would be interesting!

It’s not a bad thing... there’s room for lots of people to be successful in this world. Filling arenas, without a record label, with the band you chose and playing 75% your own post-Oasis songs is what success looks like for Noel. Filling huge gigs singing someone else’s songs and having the whole thing organized by Warner Bros is what success looks like for Liam. I’m thrilled they’re both out there and am thoroughly enjoying albums/gigs from both. T

Noel’s whole solo career has been about doing things his way and enjoying playing whatever he wants at whatever level of gig/stadium he wants (within reason). Liam has the label and the representation around him to make him extremely successful in addition to his individual talent obviously. I enjoyed WBTM and am super into AYW and Liam’s album cycle/ tour. Definitely looking forward to the future of their solo careers.
