BBC gamely try to persuade Liam Gallagher not to swear on live TVThe 45-year-old rocker will be broadcast live as he takes to the stage at Radio 2’s Biggest Weekend gig in Coventry, and the Beeb has made it very clear it expects best behaviour from him Adele didn’t heed the warning, and Dave Grohl deliberately disobeyed them – alas, the BBC is still trying to encourage Liam Gallagher not to swear during his festival set. The 45-year-old rocker will be broadcast live as he takes to the stage at Radio 2’s Biggest Weekend gig in Coventry, and the Beeb has made it very clear it expects best behaviour from him. A source said: “There’s a poster in his dressing room to remind him that the BBC requests no bad language on stage. “Once he’s on site, organisers will brief him in person about not turning the airwaves blue. Adele swore 33 times during her Glastonbury set broadcast live on the BBC The Beeb has reason for concern. After being told off for swearing at Leeds Festival last year, Liam remarked: “Stop the world I’m getting the F*** OFF. "As you f***ing were, you f***ing c**** s**** t****.” But a source at the Beeb insists the team warn every artist about their language prior to going on stage. After being told off for swearing at Leeds Festival last year, Liam remarked: “Stop the world I’m getting the F*** OFF" In 2016, Adele joked about being given a warning for her “potty mouth” as she delivered an impressive 33 swearwords during her Glastonbury set broadcast live on the BBC. During Foo Fighters’ set the following year, Dave Grohl tried to break her record by repeatedly chanting the word “f***”. With no Glasto this year, it’s over to Liam. Meanwhile, fittingly, Radio 2 bosses have separated the two warring Gallagher brothers into separate locations in different countries on different days, so there’s no chance of a backstage spat. Dave Grohl tried to break Adele's record by repeatedly chanting the word “f***” (Image: WireImage) Liam quipped today of Noel’s Saturday slot in Perth: “We’re getting closer and closer to each other."we’re gonna collide one day and who knows what will happen.” He added of the gig: “I can’t wait to get there and turn it up. "I love a bit of rowdiness – a bit of argy- bargy down the front.” Hear Liam’s set live (with bleep machine) on Radio 2 from 8.35pm on Sunday. Highlights will be shown from 10pm on BBC 2. I'm not sure why I found this so funny. BBC still not recovered from 1997 then?

I'm sure this has been posted before but Liam lurking Kate Moss at :14 is hilarious. Patsy found him in a room with her once didn’t she? Then kicked his car on the way out or something

Patsy found him in a room with her once didn’t she? Then kicked his car on the way out or something Reported again at the time of Liam and Patsy's split but the incident dates from the peak 1995/96 era of Oasis if IIRCThe BMW she kicked in a rage turned out to actually be a car she owned-

It's funny how bored Liam looks on a yacht with topless Kate Moss and other women.

My mate who’s not even an LG fan or a big Oasis fan just signed of a text to me with ‘as you were’. Mixed feelings about that tbh

I'm glad Liam has got a week off before Finsbury, he'll need to be fresh if they're releasing it on DVD.
Although that didn't stop them from releasing Manchester 2005 so who knows.

Manchester 2005 is a terrible dvd. It's not a bad gig, but there are just too many shots and the audio mix sounds like it was recorded in the parking lot outside the stadium with a mobile phone.

Agreed that it was a good gig, Liam's vocals were shocking though. Seems obvious to me that NG was trying to bury them in the mix. I believe this was around the time he started singing harmonies over every other line - none of that any more!

This is slightly personal, but I'm so happy that Liam reached out to Molly. My dad was never there and literally the day after he posted that picture my dad decided to reach out, he explained everything and why he did what he did. It was the one part of Liam that I couldn't stand because it just never made any sense to me why a parent would just leave or not be present. I'm actually talking to my dad now and he loves Oasis as well, it's just been nice to jump back in where we left almost 16 years ago. I wish all the best for Molly and Liam!!

It's funny how bored Liam looks on a yacht with topless Kate Moss and other women. That's the holiday he took before the release of BHN. For anybody who has not read Forever The People, Liam (aged 24 at this point) found out during the first UK leg of the BHN tour that the holiday had cost him £40,000. For two weeks. £40,000.00

That Manchester show was at the start of the DBTT tour. It's probably the best he sounded all tour - which says something. The band were great though and I love the LDSMD doc. You can tell that the band were all very close at that point (in terms of actually getting along). Something happened in late 2008 and they never recovered.

Also, came on here to actually say, it's a year to the day since LG's first gig.
Remember tuning into the periscopes of people at the Ritz.
What a journey it has been.
Can't wait for Finsbury.

Got to say, his voice did sound way better this time last year.
This year has knackered him.
Hopefully he can keep it in shape - relatively - over the summer.
