It's 4 years ago today when I saw and met Liam. It's been long, but he's back and powerful than ever now.

DGSS was released 7 years ago today.
In that same time frame from 1994, we got DM, WTS, BHN, SOTSOG.
Crazy.

The look he gives the crowd here is a moment of pure victory and the realization that he was back in the fucking game.

The look he gives the crowd here is a moment of pure victory and the realization that he was back in the fucking game. Yep. I’ve written it before elsewhere, but having been lucky enough to get to both Glastonbury and Reading last year, they were amazing atmospheres and performances... Glastonbury was like.. this comeback is REALLY happening. The Other Stage crowd was enormous (back to the paths and hedges) and a really warm atmosphere. Reading.. I was at the front (ish), and looking around was a sea of teenagers going nuts, like me in 1997. Maybe the best Liam performance in years. Victory was sealed. And this year has already seen the NME Awards, the Brits...

I remember when Liam announced his solo stuff and thought it'd be nice to see him playing in small venues. I never thought it'd become this big

This morning, I thought back to when Liam performed at One Love Manchester last year. His gig at Rock am Ring the day before had been cancelled due to a terrorist threat and although it was the right thing to do for safety reasons, I was a little disappointed because the gig would have aired on an internet live stream. Then the next day, he performed a surprise set at One Love Manchester and I sat there almost crying over how good his voice was and I remember how it nearly blew the roof off this forum.

Liam will surely make a few millions from his 40k+ shows this summer, right?

The worst thing Liam has ever done was admit he has leopard print carpet. Illusions shattered, dreams destroyed, the godlike genius is instead an interior designing failure. Sad.

Noel's carpet (not to mention the rest of his sucky taste in decorating) is enough to make you puke.

When they play Slide Away live they should turn down the volume at the end so that when the crowd are chanting 'Don't know, don't care etc' you can actually hear it. I think it will be really cool if people are singing that bit with Liam singing Slide Away like in the actual song.

Come Back To Me finally clicked for me today. Didn't really like it at first, but was listening to it on the bus this morning and it's been stuck in my head since. Great tune, love the chorus. The worst thing Liam has ever done was admit he has leopard print carpet. Illusions shattered, dreams destroyed, the godlike genius is instead an interior designing failure. Sad. Of course he needs leopard print carpet. Got to match the shoes!

Bonehead does indeed look even cooler now than he did back then. Most people are cooler than Bonehead!
