I've been thinking of a Favourite Moments of the AYW tour compilation:
1 - Be Here Now - feat Bonehead (Manchester Ritz) 2 - D'you Know What I Mean? (Manchester Ritz) 3 - Live Forever - acapella (Manchester Ritz) 4 - I Get By (Glastonbury) 5 - Universal Gleam (Glastonbury) 6 - Don't Look Back in Anger - acapella (Glastonbury) 7 - Chinatown (Exit Festival) 8 - For what It's Worth (Colbert Late show) 9 - Soul Love (Reading festival) 10 - Come Back to Me (SSE Belfast) 11 - I'm Outta Time (SSE Belfast) 12 - Some Might Say (SSE Belfast) 13 - Rockin' Chair (Bethnal Green Working Men's Club) 14 - Natural Mystic ((Bethnal Green Working Men's Club) 15 - You Better Run (Bethnal Green Working Men's Club)
I'm really so happy with what Liam's delivered this time, in all respects. He's sounding better than anyone expected, doing songs we never thought we'd hear, he looks great, and he's refreshed and on top of his game. I'm very happy for him.

I think the Bethnal Green acoustic set he did was one of his best gigs since going solo. A lot of the AYW songs work out really well this way (You Better Run, Greedy Soul), or at least are interesting to hear (Wall of Glass, I've all I Need).
I'm one of those few who like the more acoustic Greedy Soul, like on the album, rather than the more electric live version. i think the jagged raw acoustic feel is harder to pull off successfully and works really well. The full electric approach almost seems too obvious. Still like it, just not as much.

No recent beard... Looks like it was posted a few weeks back. Those guitars are terrible, though - Liam deserves much better than his current backing band!

I'm not really a fan of all the acoustic stuff Liam has been doing lately, including his rendition of Wonderwall.
Liam's voice sounds amazing with a full wall of sound behind him.

After watching their interviews, Noel reminded me of Liams bitter and angry phase. When talking about their albums, Liam was judging WBTM like a fan almost, he likes Dead in the water, but finds the other weak and drowned by lousy production. He doesn't find it "revolutionary". All his points are valid, he had arguments. But when Noel talked about AYW, he dissmised it saying it's not worth listening to, maintaining the ignorant view that Liam didn't write anything. So yeah...Noel seems bitter.

This may upset some of you and im sorry for that, but dear lord, Debbie must be a great fuck. It seems like she's had a lot to do with getting him back on his feet, though. She seems like a great woman, I'm very grateful if she's had any hand at all in getting Liam back to the way he is now. Also thank you for the link bringmethemonkey, Liam's beard is looking epic. He's looking better every day.

He even said that himself. That she saved him. All his other lovers seemed so passive to me. She looks like she gives a damn. Liam needed a woman like her. All that matters is that they're happy together.

I don't know if this has been posted before but I only saw it today. Bold, performed in 2015! He's been holding onto it for this long.

This was talked a lot on this forum and on social media back in time. Bold is my most favourite song from As You Were. Great song and brilliant sung by only one Liam Gallagher.

That guitar bit in the chorus of Come back to me is super awkward. And it's a shame cause the bridge is superb. The chorus is lacking something. It should have been heavier and punchier. Actually, the whole sounds thin. And that solo is a mess. Horrible. It's a shame cause the vocals are amazing.

Less than a week to see Liam. First time for me too! Beyond excited. You will love it, saw him live for the first time in January. Some Might Say is particularly good live and Cigarettes and Alcohol. He is really interactive with the crowd in terms of pointing people out, doesn't speak that much anymore though. During Slide Away when it got to the 'Don't Know, don't care, all I know is you can take me there' and I was one of the few he sort of gestured 'Come on!' towards me, was fucking great.
