I dont really understand this Oasis fans that think every thing Oasis has done since the 94-95 days is rubbish,,,,,,,,,, just make a Oasis discography collection with 7 copies of Definitely Maybe then........ |

The first half of HC is decent and it falls off a bit at the end.
I think it outsold DBTT b/c of the singles but DBTT is better.
SOTSOG would have been the 3rd best album if they chose the rights songs written at the time, to go on there instead of what DID make it on there.

It is just we are spoiled with oasis since they give us the best and we don't even dare to recognize how great it is. Open your eyes around and listen to the radio for a minute... It's compltetly empty and meaningless the song they play. Oasis, they are the band that will never write a song just because it can be played on the radio, they will play because it's rocking. that's what we call rock n roll my friends

My record collection is infinitly long and that's why I can say that HC may be considered as a very good record. I think HC is a good record. I rather prefer the first six songs to the latter five however.

I quite like the singles and (probably) all in the mind, but I think the album sounds like oasis trying too much to sound like the oasis of 94,95,96 etc I think one review said that...
I enjoy SOTSOG more because it sounds a bit different to what they were doing before, DBTT also shows some progression which makes it, not better than, but a more refreshing listen than HC. Also, if they had recored Born on a different cloud the same way they played it live then it would have been much better.
