I don't care if I am the only one, I love Yellow Tail. I wanted a studio version of that one to leak as soon as I heard it and I am angry it never happened. Someone has it and I want it. Please leak that one...

I still can't remember what The Cage sounds like, but maybe I should listen to it again, as it receives quite a few votes.

I still can't remember what The Cage sounds like, but maybe I should listen to it again, as it receives quite a few votes. It's a bit like Teotihuacan's little brother, and Alone on the Rope's grandfather. One of Noel's more daring and experimental songs. I reckon it would've sounded amazing production wise had it been recorded during the SOTSOG era.

It's a shame we never got an official version of Yellow Tail.

It's a shame we never got an official version of Yellow Tail. I was listening to a version from a Beady Eye 'Rarities' compilation I got from Jims blog yesterday, its actually pretty damn good!

Petrock2000 taped that version. His recordings are amazing quality. I had to do quite a bit of editing to give us the "song" though. It only lasted a minute or so and had crowd noise and announcements over it. Came out quite well in the end. m.soundcloud.com/jc-rkid001/yellow-tail-unreleasedShame we never got an official release of the track. It was only completed the day before the first gig at the Barrowlands back in 2011.

An instrumental remix of Beady Eye's The World's Not Set In Stone. I thought it was never released/leaked. Where source came from? Andy Bell uploaded a collection of remixed tracks from BE to his his Mixcloud account titled 42.42 back around September / October 2013 and White Smoke was included. The tracklisting is as follows : Flick Of The Finger Dreaming of Some Space White Smoke Soon Come Tomorrow Don't Brother Me Soul Love The songs were never officially released to buy on iTunes etc but shorter edits of both Flick of The Finger and Soul Love were released on a limited edition (1000 copies) vinyl given away free by Pretty Green in 2013. There is also an excellent, largely instrumental dub remix of Soul Love by Trevor Jackson, the art director for BE, which was given an extremely limited release on a Rough Trade bonus disc to Jackson's remix album Reproductions Volume 2. www.discogs.com/Playgroup-Reproductions-Volume-2/release/5217953
