oh look 1996, on top wernt you liam...... here we are in 2016, you just keeping clinging on to Noel for some hope of relevancy there Liam by posting comments about potatoes on social media.. Sadly your comments made me think of people like Lindsay Lohan and other washed up actors rather than musicians who have struggled post-fame with reality, resorting to desperate gimmicks including reality TV appearances to try and stay relevant, or else getting on the wrong side of the law which seems to be the only other way they get a media mention. I hope Liam is genuinely working on some new music and if he is, can once it is released and he is promoting and touring it, forget about Noel and instead concentrate on being the front man and musician he seems capable of being. As much as those types of people bring it on themselves seeing Liam Gallagher on BB, Jungle, Love Island, etc. would be a very depressing end to the career of arguably one of the most iconic (if divisive in terms of people liking him and his musical output) front men ever to come out of the UK. well yea I mean, Liams doing alright in the sense of hes not going on celebrity big brother (yet) and generally not going off the wagon and becoming a total washup but....I dont know he still seems to have gone into a spiral since oasis split really, it seems to me like hes had a hard time coming down off that success train he got from oasis for the best part of 20 years where really he could do no wrong and suddenly hes in a band that isnt drawing huge crowds or record sales and while this is happening hes seeing Noel do alright on his own, Liam said he doesnt care about number 1s etc but then makes a song about Noel sitting in the sun with his number 1. all this tweeting is abit sad though, its like constantly tweeting about your ex girlfriend gets to a point where you just think "time to move on dont ya think?", I mean he takes time out of his day to search for pictures of Noel to post insults about, come on Liam, think your capable of more than that. |

I was referring to him not seeming to cope well with the downturn in his musical career, and expressing a desire for him to lose the stalkerish tendencies towards his brother and the potato obsession (Now and again? seems like every day....) in favour of reigniting his musical career. That way he can hopefully avoid the slide into total obscurity with or without the depressing TV appearances on reality shite  Expanding on the taking the piss out of his brother, you call it that, I call it a bitter obsession as it reminds me of certain members of my family- who knows, you may be right.... I was not comparing him to Lohan in the alcoholic, drug taking, car crash former child star way, but rather the increasingly irrelevant ways they court attention. I can't really imagine Liam Gallagher doing a 'Dr Drew' show TBF and I would hope he has got more about him than simply fading away or doing the downward spiral TV shows. |

I just don't think his tweets need to be analysed as much as they are. Liam most likely doesn't give them a second thought once he tweets them, he knows it gets to Noel so he keeps doing it. Its as simple as that. Let's just hope he has some music coming out soon so we can start actually analysing something that's worth analysing. |

The Ted Kessler that works for Q? I really have a big feeling we are going to get some official news soon, he is definitely up to something. As well as the NME, Observer and numerous other publications yes- He did the pre-Glastonbury 1995 interview with Oasis amongst other things Oasis Interview Blogspot- NME 24th June 1995 and covered them in the glory years from reviewing the joint headline tour with Whiteout onwards. He has also interviewed Liam separately a few times such as Observer June 2002 so it could be a nod to a journalist Liam has a bit of respect for, or as you say a build up to an announcement involving other people he has trusted before. |
