You guys should definitely give this one a listen, it's just amazing!
They are a great band, probably a bit unknown still. Supported Liam while his AYW-Tour. Really interested in what you think.

Klone have a new album out in a week or so, didnt know that #2 sounds like what would happen if Donnie Munro suddenly made a comeback after 55+ years and he was backed by Porcupine Tree

RIP Burt Bacharach. So influential he seems omnipresent in all pop music.
And I genuinely think Noel's rendition of This Guy's In Love With You is the best version, and arguably his best vocal performance ever (aided by Burt on the piano).

I thought I didn't know much about Burt Bacharach, but turns out he wrote this classic.
As well as these two songs more known with different artists, but I think these are superior. The second one in particular is just pure perfection.

Yes, those are his best live vocals. I think the fact he didn't have to play any instrument made it easier for him. Playing guitar/piano and singing at the same time is MUCH more difficult than just singing.

It sounds studio level of recording which is interesting as Noel records vocals separately. Do you find it more difficult singing and playing? It's an interesting observation and something I never considered before.

Playing guitar/piano and singing at the same time is MUCH more difficult than just singing. Depends. I know i always had it easier (and better result) at gigs and recording demos with a guitar in my hand. I lost confidence, power and the rhythm of the song when i was recording demos without the guitar. It sounded completely different. It just changes the style with / without a guitar (good or bad). For instance, Scott Walker made Jarvis Cocker record the song "Roadkill" on We Love Live with a guitar to add fragility to his vocals. I guess it just depends. Pretty sure Liam sounds worse with a guitar, but Noel better with a guitar in hand. On this particular song, it's pretty clear he doesn't hide behind the guitar. His vocals are really fragile.

Sam Smith is trying desperately to make himself seem interesting to cover up for the fact he releases the blandest music on the planet. Even Ed Sheeran would find it too beige.

RIP Trugoy Three Feet High and Rising - man, summer 1989, so many good memories from this album. Shit, I saw headlines of De La Soul earlier, thought it was just about their music soon to be available on streaming. How awful, had no idea he had a heart condition. RIP.

Be respectful in your annoyance. I didn’t know the pronouns had changed. This is genuinely the first I’ve heard of Sam Smith in a few years.
