May I suggest giving their record, The Head On the Door a listen next, should you find yourself with a burning desire for more Smith and co... If Disintegration is kind of their Be Here Now and Definitely Maybe rolled into one, in its and single-mindedness and length, The Head On the Door is like their Morning Glory: just a ruddy great collection of pop songs. And, though I don't think its much of a gamble, I think I'm just going to have to take a punt on Kid A and OK Computer. Tried listening to Kid A on Spotify the other day (with the lights off and everything) and it was bloody rubbish with those shitey ads coming in after every other song. Would be surprised if I could love those albums more than I do The Bends though.

I've been listening to quite a lot of Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me recently - If Only Tonight We Could Sleep and Why Can't I Be You? back-to-back is quite the fuck off combo. I'll give The Head on the Door a listen later. I listened to The Bends the other day, and I honestly don't think it compares to later Radiohead. These days, I even prefer Amnesiac and The King of Limbs. I can't really remember how long it took me to get into OK Computer and Kid A, but as you can tell from their place in my top ten, I fell in love with them at some point. Both are pretty much perfect as far as I'm concerned.

And I bloody love Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me (most Cure title for a thing ever?), it's the album that got me into them. Was wary of recommending it to someone still relatively inexperienced with The Cure as there is undoubtedly some weaker material on there - I've always loved a double album meself, so I'm fine with that, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
