I don't know if davidjay would know the setlist, but I know the event was covered by Ian Robertson in his "What's The Story?" book, which documents his time as an Oasis tour security operative. According to him Liam stormed off stage after his voice gave out, which was caused by Liam having been up partying alot and not having had any sleep for nearly two days. Noel came off stage and confronted Liam about it leading to a another near fight, before Noel took the initiative and went back out to calm the increasingly angry crowd, turning in Robertson's words "A defeat into a decent draw"- Robertson also mentions the promises of a free gig to ticket holders with stubs next time round which occurred on 27th December 1994. Ian Robertson accompanied Liam to a Harley Street Doctor for a prescription and advice to stay of narcotics before the Wolverhampton gig on Dec 11th, the latter bit of advice of course Liam taking no notice of The Wolverhampton set list which as pretty standard for that tour is here , but again I don't know for certain how much Noel changed after Liam left the stage.

I've never seen the bootleg of this gig floating around, but this is the setlist of Wolverhampton Civic Hall they played 4 days later. Same setlist as another DM gigs, but I'm not sure if they played the same one at Barrowlands. Thanks for clearing up, guigsysEstring. Rock 'n' Roll Star Columbia Digsy's Dinner Shakermaker Bring It on Down Up in the Sky Slide Away Cigarettes & Alcohol Married With Children Sad Song Whatever I Am the Walrus Edit: oops, just noticed guigsysEstring posted the link to the setlist. Apologise.

I can't imagine Noel singing Bring It On Down.

I can't imagine Noel singing Bring It On Down. No, but he could have dropped that and still played the others- IIRC in the aforementioned book the band joined him onstage for I Am The Walrus as a finale- they may have come back out beforehand as well.

thank you for the replies!
yeah I knew about the Wolverhampton gig (been one of my favorite since I first heard it in 98!) - one article pointed out that Noel played 7 acoustic songs I'd guess (from next gig's setlist): Shakermaker Slide Away Married With Children (though Noel never sang it until 2002?) Sad Song Whatever
+Spaceman and Take Me Away? and I see Live Forever wasnt played in Wolverhampton? insane!!

I was at that gig.1st time I saw Oasis.Liam was lucky to last the three songs.Remember Second Coming was just out and the fans singing "there's only one Stone Roses."I honestly can't remember what Noel and the rest of the band did.It was obviously pretty chaotic.Think it was calming down a potential riot situation.Gave my free ticket for the return gig to a girl I fancied!
