"Ever Oasis Song Ranked" www.insidehook.com/music/every-oasis-song-rankedThis list is pure carnage with wild placings, but I'll let them off for deservedly putting the dreadful mock-Beatles nonsense like Born On A Different Cloud and To Be Where There's Life there at the very bottom. This list is shocking... he put "Live Forever" lower in ranking than "Go Let It Out", "The Hindu Times" is way too high, "The Girl in the Dirty Shirt" is at #18 which is higher than "Gas Panic" and "Bring It On Down", yet it doesn't even belong in the top 50 and "Hey Now" is higher than "Let's All Make Believe"... I don't know what pipe he's been sucking on but it's fucked his judgment....

Beato's fantastic. He's not much of a contemporary dude in terms of his music tastes but it's only ever about the music, he's not interested in sensationalist bullshit. His passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for music makes him one of the few 'vloggers' worth watching. Noel would do very well to be on the show. Incidentally he's friends with Tim Smith, Noels first guitarist in HFB. Edit: Just heard Rick say 'that's going to happen', looking forward to it.

+1 to Beato, channel is a gem, and he’s been very nice to Oasis in the past.

If the interview would be purely about music and not about the reunion and his relationship with Liam, then maybe I could see Noel being open to it, but I highly doubt. Beato only really talks about music, theory, arrangements etc, it's his whole thing. Besides, I'm sure Noel (or his team) would make it clear with Beato to keep it strictly music related. It's probably the one interview he can do where the topic of personal matters can be ignored because that's quite far removed from what Beato does.

I’ve really gotten into Headshrinker lately. Yet another incredible b-side from Definitely Maybe, and is probably the most punk they’ve ever sounded. Amazing performance. Early Oasis were incredible.
1 million views.

Early Oasis were incredible. 1 million views. The fact that Headshrinker --> The Masterplan is a 10 minute stretch on an album of b-sides is unimaginable these days. More depressingly, a 10 minute stretch of NEW Oasis material almost certainly couldn't beat HS --> TM.

Nice thing today. My car with an oasis number plate was in for its MOT and the garage owner who knows I’m an oasis devotee gave me his signed gold disk Time Flies. How nice!!
Funny it’s the only edition I have of Time Flies. For some reason I boycotted that

"and we can just forget about feeling down / and we can just forget about life in this town" hits hard I love Spaceman. There’s a real relatable charm to it. So underrated. I’d love it to be performed live next year, but sadly no chance.

Are/were the oasis sound engineers just rubbish at their jobs? If feels like every gig Liam would have to signal to the side of the stage to turn something up

If feels like every gig Liam would have to signal to the side of the stage to turn something up To be fair from at least post 2000 Liam never attended the soundchecks where any sound issues with his vocals could be sorted out. I think at the beginning of any gig by any band the sound engineers are refining the sound, it was one of the reasons the band played the instrumental “swamp song” to allow them to refine the sound levels. Also Liam didn’t use in ear monitoring where he could adjust the mix and levels until 2004. I’d imagine when using the wedge monitors on the stage the sound quality would not be as accurate as in ear monitors. I’m no expert in this field though!

In ears are certainly better for engineers With the wedge monitors, you've got to be careful with the volume of them or you started getting feedback from the mics. So it becomes a bit of a juggling act. The bigger stages help. So you might get a singer wanting the volume up even more, but there only so much you can push those wedges before they start interfering with on stage mics. The in ears at least cut out that element and the musicians can get the levels they want much easier. They take some time getting used to though.
