If they don't reform in 2025 then people will just say the exact same things for 2026 but replace WTSMG anniversary with Maine Road/Knebworth anniversary.
It being a certain number of years since some event in the 90s isn't important – the announcement will be big news, the tickets will sell out, the excitement will be huge. It's not like there's £100m on the table in 2025 but it goes down to £40m the year after.

From a marketing perspective it's better and it will generate more buzz and more album sales for their reissue and all the merch So yes they will make more money in 2025 than 2026

Like if they announced gigs for summer 2026 in September 2025, that's in time to grab loads of headlines and give a boost to the WTSMG 30th anniversary reissue in October 2025. And as much as these reissue campaigns get them back in the public eye a bit, I'm not sure how many people are really buying reissue CDs or records these days – there will be a decent amount, but mainly hardcore Oasis fans who'd be buying them if they reform or not. So yes, I agree that there's maybe a bit more money depending on the timing, but I don't think it would be a significant enough amount to really affect Noel's decision-making on the issue. Like I say, if it wasn't to happen for 2025 gigs then this time next year people will be saying "anniversary of Maine Road, and there's no Glastonbury in 2026 so that means 250,000 people with an extra few hundred pounds to spend on gig tickets" and all that. There will always be good reasons why it's definitely about to happen, we've seen it with past rumours too.

I cant imagine him saying "right let's not do it when we can generate more income and maximum profit and let's do it a year later. The time really is now. The schedules are cleared on both ends. This is no coincidence

I can't finf the pic but if he is in some way involved, he will need to delete some pretty awkward tweets about Noel from the past few years!! I don't think he's involved. He's just Liams good friend and would know if something was happening. I don't think he got on much with Noel. I've never seen a picture with him and Noel together. I find that puzzling. If I was a Gallagher friend in the know, I certainly would not spoil anything for them for need of attention, especially not what would be their biggest news in years. OK, maybe Liam is more generous, for me, that would be an ex friend!

Yes in the end it's up to Noel but even he's not stupid. I cant imagine him saying "right let's not do it when we can generate more income and maximum profit and let's do it a year later. He could have had maximum profit doing a reunion tour a couple of years ago coming out of lockdown, before a huge Oasis tour this year for the Definitely Maybe anniversary and another next year for Morning Glory. He's obviously said no to the most profitable route before, he could be tens of millions richer than he is. I'm not saying it's not happening, or that it's not logical. I'm just saying that every time the rumours really start rolling there's always a dozen reasons why *this* time it makes total sense. I think they will reform at some point (maybe now!), so eventually those people will be right, my point is just that we've been down this road before and if the reunion isn't now, we'll be going down this road again in a year.

I just saw that Frankie liked a response to his comment saying 'you know something' 👀

I think Noel’s personal situation is the key here. I tend to believe the reunion is really happening.

8.27 (or 8.28 depending on how you calculate it) was when Oasis split in 2009.
It’s now or never as Noel is approaching his 60s. I’m still stunned by how good Liam’s voice is, and we need to capitalize on that as well. It really is now or never, and it has me feeling so nervous!

It’s a great interview, really enjoyed. Noel is first class all the way through.

All your points are good except the fact that he was still with Sara. They split. It changed things.

If you follow Frankie you would know that he loves the clout and attention he gets from his Oasis pics with Liam and other band members. Backstage with Liam etc He didn't say anything really but it's just little crumbs. He can't resist the temptation lol. I mean clearly for him to put that emoji and then like a post that says "Frankie knows something" All roads are leading to this being finally it.

What interview are they referencing? Could be as simple as comments about DM30 taken out of context. But if it wasn't, shut up and take my money.

There’s a lot of Brotherly love going on in that new DM video and it’s really nice to hear. John Robb is obviously pushing for some of it, asking questions about Liam’s contributions but equally Noel is very forthcoming with the answers.
