Heathen Chemistry turned 16 yesterday. How? Fuck, I feel old.
I remember buying it on release day and was immediately disappointed. Although I did love SCYHO and LBL, and I still very much do.

HC has it's moments, Hindu Times and Songbird for example are 2 of my favourite songs and I still listen to them regularly. But most of it is pretty bad. Certainly the worst of the 3 albums Oasis mk2 made together.

Dig Out Your Soul sounds half arsed and like the work on it stopped half way through. Give me songs like Force Of Nature, Hung In A Bad Place, All In The Mind and Born On Different Cloud over dross like Waiting For The Rapture, Nature Of Reality, To Be Where There's Life and Ain't Got Nothin

Cristiano Ronaldo:
"Liverpool have The Beatles and Manchester have Oasis. I think we (Manchester) have the better band,"
"I have all the Oasis albums but my favourite track by far is Champagne Supernova. It's an absolute classic."
"One thing I will miss about Manchester is Oasis. I will be honest, I didn't even know who they were when I first arrived in Manchester, but you can't live there long without knowing who they are."
"The lads in the dressing room loved them, especially the English boys. When I came to England I was into my techno, but I think Oasis are one of my favourite bands now,"
😍😍😍

Thanks for the sentiments but tbh the only thing to miss me of late was a divebombing gull on the seafront, the feathered flying vermin! Hope all are well on the L4E forum

Oasis fans never liked the Beatles influence on the band, and as the band made more and more influences prominent, the less popular they become as a result.

Oasis fans never liked the Beatles influence on the band, and as the band made more and more influences prominent, the less popular they become as a result. Absolute nonsense. Oasis’ post-90s downfall had nothing to do with Beatles references. And, what’s more, Oasis saw a real resurgence from 2005 onwards, in any case.

Oasis fans never liked the Beatles influence on the band, and as the band made more and more influences prominent, the less popular they become as a result. Absolute rubbish. Supersonic, their debut single, contains both a lyrical AND a musical reference to the Beatles. Plus they have always taken cues from the Beatles appearance wise.

Don't know why this is the Oasis live video that I'm returning to the most, but it may have something to do with the contrast between the ferociousness of the song and how Liam looks like Milhouse from the Simpsons. The combination=gold.
