If ABBA can get back together then there hope for Oasis yet. I'd prefer to see Bucks Fizz bury the hatchet first. they're still making their mind up.

Does Noel like the Pet Shop Boys? They are absolute class!

Awesome. Don't look at the comment section, though. Never saw that much ignorance before... People slag off oasis fans but there's really nothing more pathetic than Beatle snobs tbh sad bunch of vaginas innit

Awesome. Don't look at the comment section, though. Never saw that much ignorance before... That beginning actually sounds exactly like If We Shadows....

Awesome. Don't look at the comment section, though. Never saw that much ignorance before... Nice. Interesting to see Noel talking about how He built up the chords. Not groundbreaking or anything, but showed his thought process

Felt compelled to watch the little by little music video, never seen it before, and Begbie’s in it? ?? Also they’ve made him little, and the song is called little by little!!!! How subtle!!!!!!! And is Liam meant to be God or something appearing out of the blue in his white parka? Looks very pretty though Also Andy Bell deserves an Oscar for his scene stealing performance of him tying his shoelace, truly marvellous work.

Listening to the Be Here Now album in the morning - who needs coffee when you’ve got Oasis’ mountain of cocaine induced sound!

I got this photo off of an Oasis Facebook page. It’s from the NGHFB gig at Wembley on April 27th, 2018. Gem has always been my most favorite Oasis non-Gallagher member. He’s genuinely and effortlessly cool. Always looks mint (although I’d like him to dye his hair brown!). Handles the the lead guitar and guitar solos perfectly. Great addition to Oasis, and am glad that (as with Chris) Noel has recruited him for NGHFB. This picture is phenomenal. Some may say even Biblical.

Oasis could very well have concluded Be Here Now with AATW as the perfect closer. But this is BHN we’re talking about for Christ Sake, and sweet fuck all stops BHN. We go another seven minutes with the absolutely outrageous It’s Getting Better Man before basking in the after-glow of a cocaine comedown with the lush AATW reprise. Beautifully outlandish. Bloody mental. And Quintessentially Oasis.

There's something magical about that bridge/pre-chorus in Flashbax...

Royal "events" in August/September 1997 and The Verve's 'Urban Hymns' inadvertently had a go....I do agree though that in many ways it is the quintessential Oasis record.

To that point, I wish that Oasis had done it right with the tracklisting and production, and then put in Be Here Now as track three instead of Magic Pie, then put Stay Young in BHN's place, and It's Getting Better (Man!!) before All Around the World then put AATW together with the Reprise. That would've been mega, as you would say.

Few things beat the opening drums on "Supersonic".

I've just come to the realization that All Around the World is one of my most favorite Oasis songs, and has been for much of my Oasis fandom since I discovered the song. It's such a joyful and gorgeous song that makes you feel lively and pumped while and after listening to it. I think it may just be the quintessential Oasis song.

I've never played an instrument but Tony can't have been that bad a drummer. I really like Tony on the early live stuff. Lots of energy

I've never played an instrument but Tony can't have been that bad a drummer. He was great at keeping straight 4/4 time. I mostly prefer his drumming on DM songs to Whitey's (Supersonic in particular is ruined by Whitey's constant snare rolls imo). But Noel was right, there was no way Tony could have played the songs on MG properly. Wonderwall for example would have been very stiff if the drum track was Tony's signature plod.

Why do I like She Is Love even though it's supposed to be shite? I never listen to it but when it comes on shuffle I don't want to skip it.

You just have to forget the same guy was writing ballads like Wonderwall or Cast No Shadow 7 years before. If it came on shuffle, I'd probably still skip it, though

There's something magical about that bridge/pre-chorus in Flashbax... "Flashbax" should definitely have been on "The masterplan". Maybe instead of "I'm The Walrus" and "The Swamp Song" but I think I'd take a few other b-sides over it. Quite a good track nonetheless.

Whitey is my least favourite Oasis drummer. Played the same pseudo-funky beat for seven years. Prefer Zak Starkey or even Tony any day.
