If you listen very closely to the end of Some Might Say you hear Noel say "Now fuck off Tony"

The Girl in the Dirty Shirt would have been one of Oasis' most feel-good anthems if the production wasn't so fucking horrible.

Now that I've figured out how to use music apps and send the stuff into my Apple Music library, I'm looking to cook up a Be Here Now re-mix thing...could anyone help me with getting:
- The bassline notes of My Big Mouth - The bassline notes of Stand My Be - The notes of the guitar-solo in All Around the World (the first la-la-la bit) - The chords of the intro of IGB(M!!)...the bit starting at seven seconds in. Also the chorus chords would be good.

Just fucking wow. Best performance of Gas Panic hands down. I have so much more appreciation for SOTSOG now compared to when it came out. It was actually my least favorite Oasis album for a long time, now I realize it is fucking amazing, the guitar work blows my mind. I think after the 90s we had so much good stuff it got easy to be complacent and not recognize great albums. Now though, who can make an album like this?!

With Arsene Wenger leaving Arsenal this summer, I haven’t felt this empty since Oasis split in 2009. You grow up with this institutions which makes it hard to not get so emotional.

Give over Nigel you've wanted him out since 2016 as far as I can remember Anyway that aside any thoughts on a replacement for the Ashburton Grove hot seat?

Have a sneaky feelings it’s going to be Brendan Rodgers. Not so sure with the recent structural changes at Arsenal myself, the set up is geared more towards a coach rather than a manager like Rodgers who is used to being involved in non-first team pitch matters as well. He might take the job if offered for another crack at the Premier League though, perhaps with concessions such as having final say on transfers for example. I do think they will be looking at untested in England coaches too with an upcoming or established name, e.g. Vieira or Tuchel but it will be interesting after twenty two years to see the next chapter for Arsenal.

What is this? Where is this from? Episode 3 Series 1 of "My Mad Fat Diary" (2013) a British comedy-drama series for the E4 channel based on Rae Earl's ""My Fat, Mad Teenage Diary" and rewritten from the book's 1980's time frame to be in the nineties.

How significant was that twat’s on-stage attack on Noel to Oasis splitting? It obviously contributed to a miserable tour for Noel....

How significant was that twat’s on-stage attack on Noel to Oasis splitting? It obviously contributed to a miserable tour for Noel.... The above is Noel's court statement relating to the attack and I find the second part of it most interesting in a possible support of your question/theory. The "pressure to perform" and "operating at 50% of my capabilities" would undoubtedly have put Noel in a bleaker frame of mind, especially with physical pain as well, and may have made him more sensitive to any criticism and/or insults whether perceived or real from the rest of the band which could then have become a deeper issue as time went on. I have no doubt that there was more to the eventual split than the backstage fight or the onstage attack as the sole causes, but I think the latter certainly didn't help band mood or relations during that period and could well have been a catalyst for the eventual break up of Oasis- a different topic regarding Oasis for me to consider than the usual ones covered at any rate

How significant was that twat’s on-stage attack on Noel to Oasis splitting? It obviously contributed to a miserable tour for Noel.... I can't remember what the source for this was (maybe that podcast with Gem?) but it sounds like something happened in the run-up to DOYS that was Noel's final straw. He thought he could do the tour, then walk away (I think this is evidenced in his blog - he's building a narrative where he has to leave the band), but it turned too nasty for him to do that. I guess if you get as far as having a new Oasis album done, you really don't want to cancel the tour off the back of it when it's the vast majority of the money in the modern industry, particularly when you've got any number of people from Andy and Gem to the roadies who haven't made the kind of money you have and need to be working. I'm not sure the attack would have much to do with anything. It might even have brought the band closer together and helped them keep the show on the road a bit longer. I think Noel was and is manipulative and duplicitous, but I also think his motives in carrying on after he'd realised the game was up were probably good ones.

I listened to the BHN Mustique demos for the first time in a while (6 months maybe?) and really quite enjoyed them. As much as its totally Liam's song, Noel's version of IHITIK reminds me why it is one of my favourite Oasis songs.
It's also so interesting to hear that demo of DGA and to hear Noel belt out IGBM.
Later today I'm going to pore over that Brian Cannon coffee table book like the day I did when it first arrived. Whilst listening to the album of course.

Funny, I consider disc three as a new Noel solo record. Also love AATW demo disc 2. Have gotten a lot of mileage out of this record

Let's say hypothetically someone had made their own version of Be Here Now complete with edited songs, a better tracklist, and version of D'You Know What I Mean that combines the original and the rethink, how would they maybe upload that somewhere for the rest of a hypothetical Oasis fanbase to enjoy?
