The Nature of Reality may be one of the worst things ever released under the Oasis name, but I would be damned to say that the intro isn't awesome. The way the shakers rattle, the guitars slowly come in, counted in by the drumsticks, and then they crash in, I love it. It just sucks that the rest of the song is so poorly penned and structured. excellent post. the first time i put on doys when the intro to this song kicked in i'm like 'BHN all over again.... this is going to be WICKED awesome!' and then a mere four minutes later by the time the song faded out i was like....  |

Caught Wonderwall on the radio today. Flipping through the stations and just a half second played but I just knew it was Liam and quickly put it back. Funny how the Oasis radar goes off so quickly.

Been using Audacity's vocal remover/isolate plugin on some Oasis tracks. Don't Go Away's vocals are out of this world. Yeaaaaaah, we're gonna need to hear that... Any chance you could upload when you're done? And if you could do the other Be Here Now tunes (especially D'You Know What I Mean? and It's Gettin' Better (Man!!)), that 'Member of the Year' award at next year's Forum Awards would be yours. Apologise if seem too pushy, but an isolated vocal track for D'You Know What I Mean? is just something I need in my life. |

It just makes the vocals stand out in the mix more and centers them. I can invert the channels as well to get the OOPS at the same time which helps. |

But that would be the whole point of releasing WDIAGW as a single! It's a lyrically dark song that would challenge people's perception of Oasis yet similar enough to be recognizable as Oasis. Plus it's better than Sunday Morning Call.  And the thing with hidden gems, boy did Noel hide away wayyyy too many of them in Oasis's discography.  |

EDIT:
Coolest thing about doing this for BHN is listening to all the unheard riffs buried within the mixes. I've probably heard 5 or 6 new riffs on AATW that I never noticed.
