I think that theres a man of misery demo, other than that not really unless you count dreaming of some space which is basically the demo to start anew when reversed (andy bell mentioned recording traffic sounds for the demo which are featured in dreaming of some space)
there is also a Noel demo of the roller I think but its not been heard and a basic demo of flick of the finger recorded around 04 with no vocals but again its not been heard.
theres likely other songs that have demos from the oasis era like millionaire (Noel mentioned not liking the lyrics) and apparently four letter word was written for DOYS so maybe that too but thats just an assumption.
we never really got any added extras like demos from beady eye, its a shame really would be nice to hear them.

I would love to hear the BE demos before they were Sitek'ed + Oasis DGSS versions. It would be interesting

It would be interesting I always wondered if Oasis demoed any BE songs, given for example Liam mentions The Roller as being a "Great Gem song" in a 2001 interview with Noel for Mojo magazine IIRC, and Noel also mentions it in a December 2000 interview with Select as "T Rex doing Instant Karma"- Select Magazine Interview (courtesy Oasis Interviews Blogspot)

Noel mentioned that he rejected Millionaire because of the lyrics and knew about The Morning Son. Standing On The Edge Of The Noise was almost the title track of DOYS so that would have been demoed and possibly attempted in the studio

It seems odd for Noel Gallagher of all people to reject a song because of the lyrics- besides his own tunes he is a massive T Rex fan and Marc Bolan, whilst a brilliant songwriter and charismatic frontman wasn't exactly taking his lyrical cues from Pete Seeger or Oscar Wilde. btw theyknowwhatimean I don't know if you know Pete Seeger but if not try Talking Union, given some of our posts

Odd reason for sacking a song or not trying new lyrics, assuming of course they didn't

Yeah i agree it didnt make any sense even at the time ..typical noel 'story' i think

Speaking about Beady Eye makes me feel more nostalgic then listening to Oasis. Does anyone remember the amateur camera recorded audio version of Millionaire outside Lillywhites studio?

It was shacky and hardly audible. But got me hyped. Im not sure, if it actually was a guy of a band that recorded next door.

Aren't those photos from the late 1960's Pirelli calender shoots he did (IIRC I tracked down her details on another thread for someone), or have I found the scotch too early as per usual on Christmas Day?

Doesn't mean outtakes don't exist!!!!

How the fuck could they pass up Four Letter Word?! Can you imagine that as an Oasis stomper?! Of course, that's assuming it resembles at all the released version.
