All right, so here goes folks; In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Oasis' fantastic Earls court concerts on the 4th and 5th of November 1995, oasisarchive.com is bringing you audio tape from the bands soundcheck on the 4th of November. Link and more info here; oasisarchive.com/earls-court-1995-soundcheck-audioWhatever (string section rehearsing) Round Are Way Up In The Sky (Liam vocals only, clip) I Am The Walrus Don't Look Back In Anger (aborted) Don't Look Back In Anger Whatever (Noel electric, clip) I would also like to remind people who enjoyed this to consider showing your support by either following us in social media, donating a small amount to help pay for webhosting (link on the website) or offering to help in any way. A LOT of time and work went into making this upload, and as much as I would like to keep doing this it all comes down to how much an audience actually participates. I would also like to use this oppertunity to thank people who have helped out so far. There will be more updates soon. Take care. Joakim

Christ, that bit of Up In The Sky Liam sings... Hearing it echoing around an empty arena really drives home just how good his voice was.

This is pure gold, thanks for uploading! It amazes me how such a recording is suddenly unearthed after all these years, makes you wonder what else is out there.
At least to my ears this sounds like a SBD or IEM recording and I immediately had to think of Mark Coyle, who used to regularly tape soundchecks and gigs (like the acoustic soundcheck demos on the MG reissue). But I don't think that he still was Oasis' live engineer at this point in time. However, really interesting stuff, thanks again!
EDIT: And a big thanks for the hard work you invest into the oasisarchive site, it's much appreciated! Looking forward to the upcoming updates, it really helps to keep the community alive and interested.

what a fantastic share! can't believe i overlooked this until now. the up in the sky bit with liam is fantastic. it is also a harsh reminder of just how much he has declined vocally over the years. here it is--- just him and a microphone, and he still has his 'studio vocals'. amazing. if the op doesn't mind, i would like to hear the story behind this recording--- who recorded it, how and when did it surface, how it was acquired, and from whom. but if not that's cool too. anyway, thanks a lot joakim !
