Amorphous Androgynous.
Do it without bitching and release it to enormous critical acclaim. Your move, Noely G.

A soloalbum? Supergroup? Oasis reunion? Some guest performances?
I hope some acoustic performances with Gem. I think that could be succesful.

Said it before but whatever it is musically, the sooner the better for him. The longer he doesn't have any music related news the more I believe he will simply not do anything more musically and instead concentrate on his outside interests. As for who I would love to have had the rumours earlier in the year re: Liam and Lee Mavers to have been true, but as far as personalties go that would have been too difficult to manage anyway IMO. I think what Liam needs is a writing partner who he can also relate to, sort of like Robbie Williams & Guy Chambers but creating the kind of music Liam would want to. If they did this under Liam's own name he could follow the solo artist path of bringing in sessions musicians as required for each song, thus giving more freedom in terms of the sounds and styles, which could create unexpected but welcome results. Aside from Mavers or Gem Archer, my other candidates would be John & Mick Head from Shack, although that is also extremely unlikely. Any other thoughts on collaborative partners for Liam?

I think his next step will be into the pub. We'll see if he can take any more steps after that.

His next step? Golf. On cocaine. It's the final frontier for Liam. Give Noel something to think about. But seriously, a solo album is an extremely dicey prospect for him at this point. If it's anything less than outstanding he'll get absolutely murdered by the critics. I don't envy him. It may be good to be free but it ain't real good to be Liam right now.

Genuinely made me laugh, so thanks That could go full circle- Noel said he'd be a good George Harrison, Liam said he had a dream about teeing off golf on George Harrison's head, and if we combine the two we get a) something for Noel to think about and b) a bloody great piece of telly!

I don't think it would make sense for him to make any music unless it's with Oasis, bar the odd guest vocal. I'd quite like to hear him do some radio shows or something like that.

Honestly, even if it was really good - as good as HFB or CY - critics would still murder him. I think his reputation with critics is pretty damaged after Beady Eye, and I'm not sure he can do anything to make them forget...

Brittney spears had a major breakdown messed up her life and came back from it... I don't see why Liam can't, but his best chance of making it big again is if oasis reforms.

He is a Multi millionaire, owns a massively successful fashion business and was a major part of the biggest band in the UK since The Beatles. If he never sings another song in his life he has performed on nine top five UK albums (seven as number one), headlined Knebworth, Wembley and pretty much every major musical venue in the world. I'd say even with his slightly dodgy private life (and who can really judge anyone else's private life) I'm pretty sure most people would quiet like Liam Gallagher's life.

I'd say even with his slightly dodgy private life (and who can really judge anyone else's private life) I'm pretty sure most people would quiet like Liam Gallagher's life. Valid points, although the only things he I would guess he would have preferred not to have had is the latest love child saga or the (presumably) expensive upcoming child maintenance, divorce and ex-wife etc. maintenance settlements, though in fairness he isn't the first nor will he be the last in that situation. The fact he is famous just means it makes the newspapers, etc. As to life it depends what your goals and objectives are. To put another slant on it with the exception of Pretty Green all of that is in the past, so perhaps he will simply move on from music and continue building his fashion label. The Independent earlier in the year reported that private equity companies looking into the business valued it at £20M based on underlying profits of circa £2M, giving Liam a share worth £6M- Independent Newspaper . The downside to this with court cases for children and divorce is this is counted towards the wealth when a settlement is decided by the court, meaning Liam would have to raise the cash by selling his shares or some other means as it is currently tied up as an investment rather than as available cash.

liams next step musically will be a surprise few solo tracks and then oasis..people who think they will never reform are deluded. A trilogy of solo albums from noel will cement his career as a songwriter and make him his cash and gain him the credibility and then the big offers for oasis to return will come and that will be it.But I don't think they will do it off there own labels etc I think it will be a big deal and they will be managed to save the arguments.
