Good luck to everyone who's going to join the battle for tickets today.
As for last Wednesday's ticket fiasco, I found this documentary that might explain the reason behind it:
The documentary is a bit sensationalistic and rubbish, but it points out that Noel's promoters, SJM Concerts and Metropolis Music, have in the past been involved in ticket sales corruption (by means of direct allocation to secondary websites such as Viagogo and Seatwave during presale).

Well that was a nightmare needed two together got one gallery standing then managed one arena standing. Looks like I'll go on my own if anyone wants a gallery standing I'll happily sell at the 35ish I paid

I knew there had to be something special about this gig, and with all the acoustic performances going on before it, it was expected that Noel would include some songs in the setlitst. But a full acoustic set is just amazing.
Glad that I got tickets even though the trip is going to be ridiculously expensive.
