I actually work for Sky next door to the SoccerAM studio, so I'm going to go in on my day off with my guitar and ask if he wouldn't mind signing it.
Want to ask about "slow" - does anyone know who's mentioned that song before? I remember it being labeled as "one of the best songs he's written.
Also going to ask about "don't stop the happening"

He mentioned 'Don't Stop' a couple of times during the Reddit interview, sounded surprised to be asked about it so much but said that it'd be on the next album (already recorded?) and that we'd love it.

I believe Be Here Now's engineer Nick Brine could remember it as well, in one of the interviews he did for David's Recording Information site. There's surely some more info to be found on either Davidjay's or Mr. Monobrow's site. |

Is there any chance 'Slow' became 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down'? No. I guess it became the 30 minutes of well earned silence in between Better Man and The Cage. To be honest, this song has become a myth and if it does indeed exist (which is not safe to say), if it is really a unique unreleased song - without parts of it possibly having been recycled for other Noel tunes - I can't imagine it being, well, outstandingly good. Otherwise, we would have heard it by now. It would just be nice to finally have a final word on it. |
