You could kinda see it coming tbh - second album had more or less bombed commercially, bad luck with the tour...the band generally lacked the success (and the quality, mostly) it wanted from minute one.
I was somewhat surprised when it happened, but it didn't shock me. At the time, with CY announced (or about to be?), there were more interesting things on the horizon. Of course now, another year further away from BE, the lack of new music from Liam is getting much worse.
