Mainly just a poll between between LATD and YKWCGB. Both are generic Be Here Now era Noel-sung rockers. But which one is the better one?
I'm venturing to guess YKWCGB wins, based on what I've read of the two songs on here throughout the year.

You Know We Can't Go Back is seriously, seriously underrated here. People foolishly disregard it because its a pretty straight forward rock tune but it's a damn good one, right up with classic Oasis songs no doubt. Dad-rock you say? Load of bullshit.
Lock All The Doors is also great, has grown on me a lot since release.
I respect votes for either as they are both bloody great songs.
Voted YKWCGB

Would you even call YKWCGB a rock song? It sound pretty poppy to me! Kinda like how IHITIK and Step Out are like pop songs, but those two have a rock overtone as well that I feel YKWCGB lacks.

Lock All The Doors, then after that The Mexican, then In The Heat of the Moment.
You Know We Can't Go Back is more cheesier than The Mexican.

YKWCGB is one of Noel's very best solo songs, and very narrowly misses out on being a proper Oasis classic. The intro part is gorgeous

You Know We Can't Go Back should have had a more poppy production to it - it's a pop song, straight up. And it could have been the albums biggest hit if that was the case.
Oasis often 'rocked' up many pop songs to great effect, but I just don't think Noel's voice carries the authority of Liam's to make it succeed like it should. Again, like Lock All The Doors, the production is too clean for the rock sound it obviously wants.
But I do like it, and it's a nice song, and sounds great acoustically, so you know the melody is good if it can carry itself acoustically.

Noel screwed up again. You Know We Can't Go Back should have been the single over Lock All The Doors. It's a pure winner.

My two least favorite tracks on the album. Would pick LATD, though.

You Know We Can't Go Back is a great song that has some great youthful vibes to it. It's a seriously good pop song, and good song, in general, a song that Noel might've wrote for Definitely Maybe, even. I wish it would've been a well-promoted single because I think it could've been the What a Life of this album.
However, I will say that Lock All the Doors is a really good song with a pulsing beat that drives all the way through the song. It's a great throwback to 90s Oasis, and I love the drums in the second verse & also the cool as fuck piano layer. Even the guitar solo is typical Oasis; short, sweet, and there just cos.
I like both of them, but surprisingly, I'd consider them to be some of the least best (not worst) songs on the album, which really does say something about the album. Best Gallagher-related album since Morning Glory, I'd say.

I love how people say Dad Rock like it's an insult. What if you are a Dad who likes Rock?
You Know We Can't Go Back gets my vote. I wasn't struck by Lock all the Doors immediately but it has grown on me over time. However YKWCGB had me at "Many's the time"...

Oh I agree. I actually expected him to go with YKWCGB. Would've made a great summer single.

Both great songs, I prefer the studio version of Lock All the Doors but the live version of You Know We Can't Go Back. I hope he will keep it in the setlist

Sorry but I can't label You Know We Can't Go Back as a rocker. Sounds like a forced pop song trying so hard to sound rock.

I think try people use it as an insult which bothers me most. Because, as you say, it shouldn't really be an insult.

You Know We Can't Go Back isn't a "rock" song, but a good pop song, very suitable to be a single (You hear me, don't you, Noel?) Actually the most songs Noel penned are great pop songs and there's nothing wrong with pop songs.

YKWCGB has it for me. Like a few people have said, it's more pop than rock, but whatever. Can't say I agree it should have had a more poppy production though. It's a decent enough song and more than solid album material.

YKWCGB is a pop song, without a doubt. It doesn't sound too poppy and has a rock element to it and gives it that edge. Not sure why it would need a more poppy production either, I believe it would damage it.

You Know We Can't Go Back.
Not because it's the lesser of two evils or the melody carries it, because it's a fucking tune.
