Whoever sent Trump out to do this Press conference should be fired. They needed to calm Washington and the greater public, and this has only opened up more instability. The guy clearly has mental issues. I keep saying it but based on my experiences in business with certain people he is clearly narcissistic, with his inability to accept criticism without resorting to attacking critics himself, never wrong in his mind, unable to accept advice or another point of view and certainly will never genuinely apologise for anything. The man has demonstrated this type of behaviour since coming to prominence in the business world in the 1970s so why anyone expected anything different with him calling the shots I really don't know.

I don't know whether its sheer stupidity or a diversion tactic. The extraordinarily nature of it is surely an attempt to deviate the press away from his administration being corrupt and under the thumb of Russia?

It might be a helpful diversion for some members of his administration, but I would happily wager a substantial amount that Trump believes what he is saying- it's part of the whole narcissism in that once you believe yourself to be infallible then your mind twists the facts to suit your reality, no matter how absurd it seems to normal observers,

They know just how to exploit him to divert their own failings.

Donald knows a lot of stuff, ya know.

The guy clearly has mental issues. He wanted it lol he literally walked into the Oval Office yesterday morning and said "Let's do a press conference today".

Dear God, that press conference was brilliant! He had to be on cocaine, right? In my experience people with delusions of grandeur and a narcissistic streak full on personality tend to put on a better show than any amount of the ole' Colombian marching powder could hope to achieve

We're into full blown "lügenpresse" now! Given his racist, sexist and generally prejudice outbursts over the years it would be interesting albeit probably impossible to get an honest answer from Donald Trump as to who exactly he sees the "American People" as being......

Interesting reading that Donald Trump and his family have already cost $11,300,000 in one month for travel arrangements, including such things as security, whilst Barack Obama cost an average $12,100,000 per year for similar arrangements- Then again the latter's children were not costing $88,320 in security agent hotel fees for example whilst promoting a family branded condo tower in Uruguay. The Independent- Trump family trips cost taxpayers $11.3m in one month – almost as much as Obama’s cost in a yearA bit hypocritical of Donald really to say the least, given historical tweets-

Conservative publication in indignant rage at Obama shock! Seriously, you really believe this guff when it claims he's at fault for slow economic recovery? Fuck sake.

Conservative publication in indignant rage at Obama shock! Seriously, you really believe this guff when it claims he's at fault for slow economic recovery? Fuck sake. He doesn't actually think for himself. The author asked what crisis Obama faced? Then went on to flame throw the economy.....right. The economy in 2008 wasn't in crisis? Arguably the biggest economic crisis since FDR. The fact that the author ignores it tells you his clear bias. Anyone with half a brain could see that. I've said for sometime that when the dust settles that Obama will be a top 16 president. 1. Because he was a two term president. It automatically puts him above just about every one term president. 2. He faced the greatest economic crisis since the great depression. 3. In 50 years time, you may not remember Regan, but you'll remember Obama as the first black president. 4. His Cuban strategy, which will most likely open up a fertile economic pipeline to the US 5. The rise in LGBT rights (funny how a right wing article didn't mention that....hmmmm....I wonder why?) 6. His policies on climate change. All 6 will give him a very favorable view in history. He'll be remembered as a very above average president (maybe not in the Top 10, but certainly close).

A president's most important time in office is the first 100 days. And he's already spent 25% of his time as president in Palm Beach.

Good to see Sean Spicer has been partaking in the consumption of Mexican psychedelics, or at least I assume so judging by his daily briefing on the relationship between the USA and Mexico- In all seriousness we have genuinely entered the age of bullsh*t where outright lies are given names such as 'alternative facts'. I can remember throughout my entire adult life instances of politicians avoiding or carefully wording responses when pressured over various activities or decisions, but I cannot think of any supposed democracy in the Western world where outright lies each day became the norm as it appears to have done here, with no attempt to even twist facts but instead saying whatever suits the particular agenda of the moment no matter how obviously false and ridiculous it seems.
Regarding the people who did vote for Donald Trump I have to wonder if there is any regret, whether some still feel like they are watching the man on some sort of reality TV show as opposed to arguably the most powerful political position on earth where he can cause massive damage at home and overseas, or if indeed whether they still admit to it publicly or not they in fact approve of the actions of the man thus far?
