Trump's consumed with getting his fucking wall built that the American taxpayer will end up paying for.... Gracias. Immigration and the wall do seem to be pre-occupying his thoughts, although don't be surprised if news of a Trump decision favourable to Russia comes out soon. Despite the news in the West about "early stages of lifting sanctions" scuttlebutt in the higher circles of Russian cities is that talks are far more advanced and will be coming sooner than Western commentators are expecting, which my sources unfortunately are not printable as it came verbally from family members The Wall cost is estimated by CNBC to be approximately $15,000,000,000, with Sean Spicer talking about import taxes to pay for it or alternatively a $120 per household cost if it comes directly out of Federal taxes. The import tax idea would of course raise costs for goods and services to the US consumer, but as ever it appears to have not been properly thought out in terms of financial and other costs- CNBC- Trump's wall could cost $120 per US household

Imagine if there's an assassination attempt on Trump, and his bodyguards scream 'Donald, duck!'.

Imagine if there's an assassination attempt on Trump, and his bodyguards scream ' Donald, duck!'. Since the entire election and Presidency has been cartoonish it would be a fitting attempt if it was done in costume to resemble this scene

Looking forward to the Russian sanctions announcement after his Putin phone call in the next few days!

Interesting to read- also noted are the more idiotic supporters who appear to have targeted an NY based Professor under the assumption on Twitter that she is the secret service agent, despite her bio clearly stating otherwise....

Maybe I am missing something having only scanned the article during work related matters, but how is this expected to work? Surely if refugees are without any form of documentation then individuals can claim not to be Muslim and change their names verbally- I am not saying they should even have to do this by the way, as this is plainly ridiculous and I am willing to bet that Donald Trump has no idea that there is even more than one version of Islam, but I am simply pointing out the practical flaws I can see away from the moral stance which is indefensible in that respect.

The US is turning into the basket case of the world. Religious discrimination under the guise of "protection". Unconstitutional and blatantly racist and disgusting. Christian refugees will get priority over others? How does that even work? Travel for Americans is going to be even more risky now as no doubt the real extremists will look to hit back. This is just madness.

After seeing May visiting US, Cameron wasn't that bad compare to her. At least he was against Brexit. But I still forbid him to liking The Smiths.

She just knows that if she tries to shut it down now, there would be a revolt amongst the people who voted for it, and her position (which she just kind of assumed anyway, without first going through the proper election procedure) would be completely untenable. But Cameron brought the whole thing into being by trying to 'play the game' too much, banding about what he thought would just be empty promises (he agreed to have the thing if he won a majority in the 2015 election, something neither he nor anyone else thought he was going to do) for political point scoring purposes. He was bad. He was utterly useless. And it's fitting that his tenure should end with him trying to anticipate the mood of the country, getting it totally wrong, and it blowing up in his face. As comedian Stewart Lee noted, he was like a weathercock, constantly moving in the direction of the prevailing wind, moving this way and that, never asserting his position on any issue - and so, under his leadership (for want of a better word), came along Brexit, a democratic decision so divisive it split the nation in two and finished him off for good. If there's one grim source of enjoyment for me in the wake of this catastrophic fuck up, it's that that man is fucking finished. Everyone now knows that he was completely unfit for the role of Prime Minister, and all anyone will think when his name is mentioned from now on, is Brexit. And how his carelessness allowed it to happen, and his spineless saw him flee the scene of the crime after it did.

That is true, along with the more pressing issue that the UK is finished for some considerable time if not permanently in the EU as a voice for any debate, especially with a continuing French/German led mandate for closer integration as any objections to any deals fair or otherwise to the UK would see political protests by UK MEP ignored with the attitude being "We've heard all the empty threats before" should any reversal even be accepted by the EU. Combine the above scenario with a fair number of continental EU politicians who are delighted to be seeing the back of a thorn in their side and the options become even more limited at this point.

May is a disgrace for not condemning Trump on the Muslim ban. I'd never thought I'd see the world unravelling so quickly.
