I'm just glad nuclear war hasn't kicked off yet although it probably won't be much longer. Fingers crossed Noel's album leaks before the end of the world

So, America, how are we going to celebrate the one year anniversary of Donald Trump’s being elected president tonight? Feeling great yet?
God bless the United States.

As someone who is going through and having difficulty with our healthcare system, I can't believe that you still support this moron. And yeah its going about as well as expected with having a moronic, unpredictable, con-artist, hate mongering bigot as the leader of the free world. I am a changed person due to all the stress I've had because of this situation. And not for the better.

How do you square your own situation with Trump and his healthcare policy. To the casual observer it seems quite bizzare. A partisan to the ultimate degree. You wouldn't require extra funding in the UK, I would have thought a different system might appeal to you.

Premiums and deductibles have continued to rise (and sure, some of that is indeed related to Trump's instability in the matter), and I've now been maxed out of the market - I simply can't afford to have Private Health Insurance come January. Hello Medicaid. Fuck.

Don't you hope for something better than either option?

Surely we can do better than the ACA? Obamacare was partisan, not gaining a single Republican vote....that's ignoring half of the country's concerns right there.

You do realize that ACA was heavily compromised with what Romney was proposing at the time. And you are going to be fucked because of what the Republicans want to do with health care. I know ACA wasn't perfect, but it could be improved. YOu're not gonna get anything the way things are going...

The last year seems like a weird dream.....every time I hear 'President Trump' I roll my eyes.
Republicans control all of Washington but have accomplished nothing.
Hopefully the Russia investigation speeds up or Trump's assassinated....
Thanks.

Hopefully the Russia investigation speeds up or Trump's assassinated.... Thanks. Nah, that would evoke sympathy, and the Republicans might have a tiiiny chance to win in 2020 (depending on the opposing candidate). Seeing him rot in jail would work fine with me.

Hopefully the Russia investigation speeds up or Trump's assassinated.... Thanks. Over the last year, I had to be hospitalized a couple times and the EMTs always ask questions to make sure your conscious, etc. They always ask, “Who is the President?”, and each time I fumbled to the correct answer, but as I said Donald Trump I was actually questioning my own validity and if that answer would actually lead to my being committed/sectioned. Surreal as all fuck, and still is.

It strange, I think the general public are immune to the fact the US is close to a nuclear war with NK. Trump is making the situation 10x worse. As much as healthcare is important, it won't matter at all when Trump is causing a nuclear world war which is much closer than it was this time last year.

I wonder what people think of George W. Bush now? Actually, opinions have been more favorable for the 43rd President as the years have gone on. The last I saw was a few years ago, his approval was around 46% which is quite impressive when you compare it to his lowest point. That sign said, most presidents have better approvals once they leave office.
However, I always felt safe with GWB as he Commander in Chief. And I always thought, and still do think, that GWB was a well intentioned man, and nor do I think that he’s dumb by any means.
I don’t think Trump will start WWIII, lol, but I’m not proud to call him my president. That being said, he’s accomplished nowt in his first year - despite controlling all branches of government. What the actual fuck is that about?
I really was a fan of Bush, though, especially his first term.

The write-in votes for Alabama head football coach Nick Saban lost the election for senate candidate Roy Moore; well, that and being a peodophile and bigot....
Thanks.

Well to the people that said nothing would happen, there goes net neutrality. Because literally all the government cares about is billionaires and giant corporations. Yet somehow they've convinced millions of people to vote against their own interests.
