A song called "Fun" has got to be one of the worst titles in music history. I bet that's the one Noel is featuring on He probably gave them the title

I wonder what song Noel is featured on? Probably guitar only. Gotta love how Coldplay always tells you there is a hidden track on their albums. Kinda defeats the point of it being a "hidden" track. I have heard it's vocal instead of guitar or maybe as well as guitar. Looking forward to hearing his contribution on the album whatever it is. Not sure about the new single though.

Have heard it's vocals too. Some article said that.
Hope it's not just backing vocals. A real collab would be cool.

Its not the worst thing I've ever heard but it sort of reminds me of a faceless euro pop band Feat.Chris Martin, he's a guest on his own track. Coldplay sound like a band who have lost their identity.

That mantra is as annoying as Noel's nanananas in ITHOTM.

I really hope this song isn't one of the better tunes on AHFOD...Maybe one day I'll wake up and see that the date's 1/1/09 and Chris Martin has had the following to say about Rihanna, Avicci or Beyoncé collaborations: "Don't be so fucking stupid."

It's actually not that bad. Bassline and Chris' vocals are very good.

Also, this is far better than Amazing Day. Shame that "song" is on the album.

When I first heard it, I was unimpressed, but now, I actually like it!! If only for the cool, slightly psychedelic guitar riff. I like how it mixes disco influences with a more modern sounds. It's quite catchy, but as others have said, it's the weakest of their lead singles. Hopefully the entire album will be better than this, because while the song may be nice, I'm not sure if I'd want a whole album of tunes like this. The lyrics are also shit, but the song makes up for it. A song called "Fun" has got to be one of the worst titles in music history. The funniest thing is that Coldplay already has a song called Fun that was written and recorded during the VLV era!! They later gave it to Natalie Imbruglia to record, and their version remains unreleased. It's actually a very beautiful song, and much better than a lot of material released post-VLV. Note how the chord progression from Paradise and Midnight is in the vocal melody here, and actually appeared first in this song! It's songs like this that make me wonder what unreleased masterpieces Coldplay has hiding in their vaults and won't dig up for their new records. And of course, this raises the question of whether Coldplay decided to include the same song they gave to Natalie on AHFOD. How often do artists write different songs with the same title?

Their most underrated single IMO. Great song. I have a mild appreciation of AOAL at this point. Meeh.
