You can't compare Nickelback to the Foo Fighters. They're not similar at all besides that they make "rock music". Dave Grohl is a much more likeable dude than Chad Kroeger too.

I like Foo Fighters, they have made some awesome songs and it seems like they have a great sense of humour too, not to mention a great taste in music. They're not really original and kind of keep repeating themselves, but it doesn't sound tired. They just make straightforward rock music really. Also, I'm going to see them in November.

So far only Come Back is better than the version released on the album. If the demo were the album released I would be more dissapointed(my least Foo Fighters album is OBO) and it wouldn't have Time Like These(because it was written after this recording sessions).
