If you were a musician and met him in a festival or wherever, do you think Noel is the kind of guy you would be able to be friends with?
With what we think we know about him from interviews, tonys book, Liam, the falling out with amorphous etc, I think hes the kind of guy who is nice to talk to for a bit, but when it gets too personal, he would dissapoint, and is even capable of some outright mean stuff.
I used to think he would be cool to have around, but now I think my admiration is more to the guy that drops songs to him from the sky, his songwriting gift, and not the man himself

It's less than 5 months after the release of Chasing Yesterday. The last gig of the tour took place last night. A new single (with a new B-side) will be released next month. There's a remix EP in the pipeline and acoustic gigs scheduled for November. Noel is going to resume recording his next album in a few weeks. We can look forward to a new tour, plus the Be Here Now reissue, plus God knows what.
Still, threads like these keep popping up. We really need someone to tweet something outrageous soon.

Liam wouldnt be friends with me, but given the right circumstances, I think he could be a really cool and loyal friends. I dont see that happening with Noel |

I remember reading a story written by a producer hired to work with Liam during the Dbtt recordings, and he also painted Noel as a bit of an ass. Some fans reportedly have not been very well treated either.

Yes, I've read the books and I also agree with him being well mean when he wants to (that's a fact). But I also think you shouldn't be afraid of asking him for an autograph in the street (or being his close friend for that matter) because right now (in this day and age, in the present year) it's more difficult to find stories of him being disrespectful to the fans than stories of him being nice to them, so maybe you should give it a try if you get the chance and of you want to (I've never met him in person by the way). |

He's a clever businnessman,and that probably helped Oasis to get where they got, but it also lead to some drastic
and quite not right decisions if you look at the moral side of things...and although his ability to control the medias and the band and all that is fascinating in a way,I despise that side of him at times
Said that,being his friend would be a completely different thing,and I'm pretty sure he is a nice guy after all...yes a bit moody and a loner,but a nice guy,you just have to know how to take him and when to leave him alone
We'd probably get along if he was like 30 years younger tbh,he's quick-witted and I've always thought taking the piss out of each other is the base for every good friendship
P.S. On the fans thing...there have been countless stories and pictures of him being cool and nice with fans on this tour alone

I'm sure he is a nice guy, but I don't think we would be friends. I think he is nice as long as you do everything that he want, he is nice.
