But, they are top of the league. Not even top after day 1. EDIT: It took us until December to reach the third page of last year's PL Thread. More interest on this forum for this season? Bodes well.

Nope, that will be Leicester! Ranieri the Tinkerman is back in the Premiership with a bang. Where did Nigel Pearson fuck off to? Dunno where - did you not hear he was sacked. Apparently for being an arrogant twat, and also, for being miffed that his racist orgy-loving son was sacked by the club.

Nice win for Aston Villa. Good start to the season for them. Still waiting for Monday when City will play, though

But, they are top of the league. Not even top after day 1. i for one, am glad to be living in a time were united fans will take any amount of time at the top as a sign of success. even if its only for an hour... i think you were maybe joking about chelsea 'imploding' in certain environments, but just for the record; the only team in the last decade who have actually lost a title after being on top as late as february are the gunners. mourinho has never lost a race when hes been in the lead come march. the only team i can think of who have blown it worse is newcastle, when keegan basically just handed it to united. cant remember the year? interesting side-note: keegan has come closer than any other english manager to winning the EPL...says alot about the lack of quality in even the best english managers.

Montero and Ayew have both been class. I do like this Swansea XI.

You said Begovic as he actually wasn't a top 10 goalkeeper in the league...
Chelsea got lucky today btw,Swansea lost momentum when Montero cramped off,he was raping Ivanovic

Me neither, even though he had a fantastic first season with As Roma, but I rate their squad and I think they won't go down There's no way Bournemouth are staying up, Villa might be affected by Benteke leaving, not that Jordan Ayew is a bad signing, but he was their best player by far I see Sunderland struggling without Wickham Others team are in the mix anyway and will have to fight: Palace had a couple of nice signings and I think they'll stay up in the end, WBA too unless they sell Berahino without replacing him, Stoke don't know about them Norwich and Watford have got some nice players, I don't follow the championship so I don't know their style of play, but they might have a chance...if one has to go down is Watford tho, not Norwich West Ham and Newcastle I doubt they'll be involved, even though you never know with the Magpies

Will be watching the Arsenal match on tape delay later this afternoon (cheers, NBC Sports Live Extra!), so will be avoiding this forum and facebook until then. Expecting an Arsenal win, for sure.

I reckon Palace and Stoke will be comfortably safe and maybe top half, I see both them finishing somewhere between 7th-11th. West Brom should have enough about them to grind out results and finish above the relegation zone too like you say. Not convinced West Ham will do that well but yeah I imagine they'll stay up fairly comfortably too if the new signings do well.

Despite our predictions, what makes the league so interesting is its unpredictability (bar last season, which was just terrible). I love all the subplots that develop, throughout. Hoping the Swans can do summat today. Oh, and almost 20 years later this is still the best advert ever. It's good to be back. When were Sheffield United last in the Premiership? And why didn't Sean Bean die in the ad?
