What is people's fascination with covers? The man has released 10 albums (okay 9, if you take off the LAG material) worth of material, of which we haven't heard a big part being performed by him yet, or songs that haven't been performed for a long time.

Reckon everyone has given up hope on him breaking open some old gems of his and would rather a cover than more talk tonight, fade away, half the world or it's good (to be free)! Those are bordering on being ruined for me

Agree with this but I would love to hear him doing a Beady Eye song

If we're adding in fantasy picks, I'd like him to play his new song, 'Jakarta Sunset Blues'.

Wonder if we'll ever hear that (morbidly titled) "Dead on the water" song.

Yeah, just saw that on Twitter as well. Wonder if they will do anything with it. They can just look over here and they'll know all they need

Noel performs all of Be Here Now, including a 10 minute version of Magic Pie and a bombastic gig closer with a 30 minute jam of All Around the World, with Sarah and his kids come out and sing along together.
If anything I would love to hear that fabled HFB version of D'You Know What I Mean that got the forum all hyped up months ago.

There were quite a few massive forum hard-ons after that setlist came out.

Hope he plays NYC, would kill to see him play acoustic in a small venue. My realistic dream setlist would be:
It’s good to be free Talk tonight Slide away Listen up Cast no shadow Wonderwall Dying of the light Broken arrow Married with children Sad song Angel child Live forever Masterplan
While the song remains the same If I had a gun Don’t look back in anger

Well there WAS a weird instrumental intro sounding snippet that surfaced from that soundcheck, which had those morse code sounding noises in the background. Wonder if that's a new song and if we'll ever hear the rest of it.

Magic Pie needs a reboot.
Hey Now! acoustic would be great after hearing it on the MG release.
Slide Away would be a personal hope.
Girl With The X-Ray Eyes maybe too?
I can't wait to find out where/when he is playing. I'll be there!

ahh, fair enough. so, could be a few UK gigs - the major cities?
I hope it happens either way, and I hope he does Manchester. Although it will be a big scramble for tickets, as I would bet on smallish venues

I'm going to sound a killjoy, but I would like less Oasis and more Flying Birds personally. In his normal gigs I'd like him play a few with no Oasis songs. He has enough material now to do so.
Anyway here is mine:
1 Riverman 2 Dream On 3 The Death Of You And Me 4 In The Heat Of The Moment 5 You Know We Can't Go Back 6 Revolution Song 7 (I Wanna Live In A Dream In My) Record Machine 8 AKA... Broken Arrow 9 The Dying Of The Light 10 Le The Lord Shine A Light On Me 11 I'd Pick You Every Time 12 Whatever (Oasis Cover) 13 Just Let It Come Down Over Me 14 AKA... What A Life
Encore: 14 Soldier Boys And Jesus Freaks 15 Morning Glory (Oasis Cover) 16 Rockin' Chair (Oasis Cover) 17 Everybody's On The Run
