Similar to the 'What album did you last listen to?' thread, what was the last album that you bought?
Today I got the reissue LP of Sticky Fingers and Kasabian's debut.

Blur's Magic Whip was my last purchased LP, and of my 200-strong collection of Vinyls it is one of the most beautifully-packaged ones that I own

The I.L.Y.s - I've Always Been Good At True Love
Although that was indeed free, so I didn't really buy it. I still need to get The Velvet Underground & Nico and Mezzanine but I've been a bit busy lately. Soon my babies, soon...

I've just discovered that Kasabian's debut glows in the dark.

Ok, don't get angry at me, but I just started to collect Oasis's albums. So my last one was SOTSOG, but DBTT is already in my local post office... shop in my county has canceled my order of the first Noel's album, so I am gonna order it from the US- so maybe this is the last album.

FFS (Franz Ferdinand & Sparks collab) and Collapse Under The Empire - Sacrifice & Solution. Yet to properly listen to them though.

The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses (IMO, one of the most amazing finds in a record store as an American fan of the band/American album collector)
Parachutes - Coldplay
Achtung Baby - U2

The deluxe edition reissue of Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia, by The Dandy Warhols. A classic album from an underrated band...

I've just discovered that Kasabian's debut glows in the dark. That's stil the best album by them to me. I've been following the band since 2004, saw them in 2005 for the first time, but I'm a bit tired of their same "C'mon! Raise your hands in the air!" attitude again and again at every gig.

Their first album is by far my favourite as well. The electronic touches added something special to the songs, that was sadly missing on subsequent albums. They were never the same after Chris Karloff left. I haven't seen them but by all accounts they are a fantastic live band, even now.

The last album I bought that I was excited about was Dawes "All Your Favorite Bands." Haven't been that excited about them since they played my girl's living room. Before that, it was The Julie Ruin "Run Fast" & Talib Kwali's latest.

NGHFB's Chasing Yesterday. And before that it was probably NGHFB #1. I don't really buy albums anymore. Can't be arsed with all the importing fees and shit. I received Damien Rice's new album as a gift from a lovely friend who lives in Ireland.

Dolly Parton - THE DOLLY PARTON STORY Want to do up the wall of the spare room with a load of framed vinyl records that mean something to us. Searching eBay at the moment and have my eye on some Bowie & Pink Floyd. Hopefully can get oasis ones for cheap enough. Would like to get them framed in this kind of style and think it would look quite cool if there are a lot of them I've just discovered that Kasabian's debut glows in the dark. That's stil the best album by them to me. I've been following the band since 2004, saw them in 2005 for the first time, but I'm a bit tired of their same "C'mon! Raise your hands in the air!" attitude again and again at every gig. I'm the exact same! Their last album didn't do anything for me, eez-ah is fucking dreadful and put me off a band I love. They were here last December again and this is the first time I passed on getting tickets and wasn't even disappointed. Have seen them the previous 6 or so times they were in Dublin. First album is absolute brilliant, I like the second despite all the hate it gets, West Rider.. was brilliant too. Velociraptor has decent tracks on it too but 48:13, meh! I'm liking some of the songs individually so might give it another listen soon. Serge to me went from one of the coolest men in rock to a bit of a silly fool with the latest LP
