Noel's voice has declined if compared to his 2005-2009 voice, that's for sure It still sounds better than 95% of the live singers out there nowadays though, and the guy's nearly 50 On the band,I love Mike as his playing adds a lot to Noel's songs, and I like Russ,he's a good bass player and seems like a top guy,his voice seems to fit NGHFB's songs more than the CY's ones tho Tim isn't highly rated on here but I think he's done a good job so far,he's no Gem,but his playing on songs like The Masterplan is remarkable Jeremy is a great drummer but I think his style doesn't fit Noel's music at all,he tries to play as hard as he can but it just doesn't sound right The brass section is amazing, they really take the performance to another level Said that,I should add that my live experience was unbelievable, but I might have caught one of the top 3 gigs of the tour

One thing that I think everyone will agree on, is that this little thing needs to find its way into the HFB shows...
beauty beyond belief.

Was fortunate enough to be at the Glasgow and Manchester shows, Glasgow was simply the greatest gig so 10 for that, Manchester the following monday was not quite as good but still comfotably an 8. so easily a 9 for me. I managed to the Glasgow gig as well and it was out of this world!!!! The best I've seen either Noel or Oasis...it was a special night.

I'm going to add to the Glasgow show praise, it was simply the best gig I've seen for a long time. And I've not seen Noel enjoy a gig as much as that for years, he was buzzing off the crowd, and they made up a chant for him which he loved. What a motherfudging night

I don't understand why Russell's vocals get so much hate on this tour but didn't on the last one. I think he's quite good.

Noel just said on a video on the NME facebook page that he'll be doing acoustic gigs in November!

I haven't seen him live on this tour, nevertheless, I think his band is simply not good enough. We were used to a high quality sound with Oasis and the HFB are not at the same level. Gem and Chris Sharrock are way better than Jeremy Stacey and Tim Smith.
The bass player and Mike Rowe are good though.

I've watched a few of the pro-recorded gigs on Youtube. I found Paris and Dusseldorf were not Noel at his best, but considering he was sick, he gets a pass. I also thought Cleveland was rather boring, but nothing horrible. The London gig for Absolute Radio and the Dome gig were both fantastic IMO. I think the T in the Park gig is one of the best HFB gigs I've seen on YouTube. Absolutely mega.

Noel stated that he was highly unsatisfied with the Dusseldorf gig. I was there and it was a solid show. It was neither worse nor better than the other NGHFB shows of the last tours I have been to. And I think this shows the problem: Even for me as a fan a NGHFB show has been become routine. You know EXACTLY what you gonna get when going to a NGHFB show. There won't be any surprises. Everytime you go to a NGHFB show you hope that you are gonna be witness of Noel breaking out of the cage and playing one "rare" song, eg like he did with Angel child in London (?) last tour. At least you hope for Noel changing the order of his setlist he did all the gigs before. But it won't happen. He plays his set from A to Z without ANY improvisation like he does in 99 out of 100 shows.
In my opinion Noel's 2015 shows have not been worse than the ones during the years before. What happened is that we became kind of bored, even though in 2015 the songs of CY have been added to the setlist. This because in times of internet live streams and fan forums you still exactly do know what you have to expect and what is gonna happen during the the next 90 minutes when entering the venue. It is like going to cinema and watching your favourite movie --- big screen, big speakers, beer etc: yes / any surprises in the plot: no
And whats so sad about it is that Noel has 100% impact on changing things a little bit unlike a movie which cannot be changed every night.
Don't get me wrong: I do enjoy every NGHFB gig and still will visit each tour but a NGHFB gig is not the one I am most excited about when checking bands tour dates.

couldnt you just call it
Second Tour syndrome
like
second season syndrome
Its not any worse than HFB 1 tour...I think Noel has a new found appreciation- not publicly going to be aired- of being a singer (Liam) and doing all the shows
hence the CY tour 2 singing comments- Ive noticed his voice is waning a tiny bit- but its too be expected shouting AKA what a life..at the end of the show- straining his voice. I dont care if its a fan favourite. it could go and not be missed
I think he thinks a bit too highly of it IMO- as in the song
All in All you'd say its been a good tour

couldnt you just call it Second Tour syndrome like second season syndrome No, I could not. Because this tour wasn't worse than the first one. As I stated the problem is that all tours/gigs are exactly the same. This has nothing to do with the second season/tour syndrome. All this despite the fact that the current tour isn't the second one.

His Gig at T in the park was amazing. But I'm finding this new bleating 'eeee' thing at the end of lines very distracting. I don't know if anyone will know what I mean, it's hard to explain, but it's very distracting.
He's oversinging. He has a great voice, and is a great singer. But his voice is most powerful in a subtle performance, where the melancholy of the songs is highlighted by some of the vocal turns he does, which are some of the highlights of his music to me. But he's just bellowing to the back seats, like Dylan on the Street Legal tour, which had lasting repercussions for his voice. Worried that this is happening to Noel.
Really like the set list. Needs to be changed up a bit now though. First night of the tour still best setlist

I think this sort of discussion will happen more with each passing tour. I think he is a 47 year old man who is still singing pretty good to my ears. Its probably not going to get any better but you can always bank on fans to be hyper critical.

They'll be some proper rows in here when he gets to 55.
