In The Heat Of The Moment. Especially live. Horns and all. Fuck yes.

In the Heat of the Moment. They are both among the weakest songs on their respective albums but they do sound great live. Even Dream On, which is my least favorite from HFB1, makes a lot of sense when you're at gigs. ITHOTM is a massive sing-along though, and I love the latest additions in the live versions (i.e., the brass section playing the "nananas" and other fills here and there). It was definitely one of the highlights of the Milan gig back in March. Oh, I also love the Ennio Morricone-style bells in the album version

I feel that Dream On is going to lose this one. If you tell me about the live version of these two songs, why not ITHOTM, but about the album version, Dream On is really superior for me.

Dream On, although In The Heat Of The Moment is the better song live.

On other heads people have seemed to really hate Dream on. Such a fun tune though, although I like them both.
Dream On for me

Dream On.
It's a more complete song, much more character to it. In The Heat Of The Moment sounds so one-dimensional in comparison

Never really liked Dream On. In The Heat of the Moment however is one of the best things he's done since he's turned solo. Easy choice for me.

Couldn't quite put my finger on it before, but In The Heat Of The Moment is really just a safe tune with another big chorus stuck in there simply to garner some radio play as a lead single. That's probably why I see Dream On as the more interesting, more complete and more engaging song.

Dream On is quite a cool pop tune with a rather good melody. Of course, it's not Wonderwall or The Masterplan but fuck I wouldn't put this song in the top 5 of the weakest HFB tracks.

In the Heat for me. Dream On is a nice little tune but for me personally I've kind of heard it before with Noel, but Heat takes Noel in a direction that's a bit more dancey. And the fantastic Toydrum remix persuades me even more it's a better tune, though I wish the album version was a lot more like the remix, and maybe that's evidence that the album version doesn't quite reach its full potential.

ITHOTM
Dream On makes me nauseous. I really don't know why. I just dislike it. Contrived, repetitive, generally annoying.

In the Heat of the Moment - I like the tune, and it's verses have a good groove. Dream On has a thirty second outro of "shout it out for me (come on)"...

Hate Dream On, like ITHOTM now that there's a version without the nanananas

In the Heat of the Moment It's a fun little pop tune that sees Noel moving forward with his sound, and sounds awesome on the radio, or if you really catch the groove of that infectious electronic bass, it's super dance-y.

Both are not amazing to me on their respective album versions, but as for live, it's a different story. I give the biggest edge to 'Heat' as it has that anthem style feel to it live whereas Dream On is just a great live song.

i dont know why people hate the nananananas,,i reckon he should have female backing singers do this live it would of been a huge singalong

I hate the nanana's, they're really cringeworthy and annoying. I'm glad he replaced them with the horns live.
