By the way, Ride were truly fantastic. If they ever come back here again, I'm the first one to get the ticket. Yeah I figured. I loved Ride too. Will definitely go see them when they come back to NL. That, Noel and Balthazar are the only decent things I've seen on this festival so far. |

Everyone has their own view, some people think it wasn't a good performance, others think it was a good performance. If you can enjoy the gig/festival when you're there, that's all matters, at least to me. and festival set is always shorter than a solo gig. Also you have to deal with all kind of people, not only your fans. I enjoyed to watch Noel tonight and that's all matters to me. It's been a long day and my bed is calling me now.  |

Just wanted to post that. It's kind of strange they're mentioning CS and The Masterplan though, as those got zero response. It's Dream On and Digsy's Dinner that got the crowd going.
Did they even watch the thing?

Anyway the article was probably ready before the gig even started,but I agree to a certain extent,he's a great sub but not an headliner,at least not a big one...the place was crowded though,so I don't really know what to think That of course is for European festivals,British and Asian ones are a completely different thing |

It's really positive, actually. They do say it was solid but not really exciting. Could've been a bit more fierce in their opinion, it was a bit too smooth. Yeah some of it is complete and utter nonsense
Anyway it seems to be an overall positive review,it mentions he wasn't very talkative,which is a thing lots of people are complaining about,but apart from that it says the band is tight and he's a pretty good singer,The Masterplan,Digsy's Dinner and What A Life are all cited as highlights

It says it was okay, but again a bit solid but boring. If there wouldn't have been the great sing alongs, they would definitely have gone to watch something else. They also describe the people who answered Noel's question who was best today with "you" as a bunch of liars and ass kissers.
