I read this thread with great interest and decided to do a copy of the sticker in order to make a t-shirt. Here's is my effort, in case someone finds it useful.  Cheers! |

Think that's how he maintains his merchandising links with Adidas, he has little originals logo's on his Gibson J guitar's, i've been trying to find an identical sticker on ebay for my J-200.

Must be a limited edition kind of stuff since some people framed it: It was an exhibition in Manc last year. Noel had some of his on display. ( off topic. Not sure if any posted the video at the time but there's an awesome video of Ian brown going to some sports shop in Buenos Aires where they had loads of original 70/80/90 trainers which was part of the exhibition ) |

And here we go again... here's another useless guitar-stickers-related question, so I won't open another thread  For a start, a little bit of history: the guitar anoraks on here might remember that in summer 2012 Noel mentioned in a Tales' entry that one of his beloved guitars got broken (probably a cherry Gibson 345, as it was speculated at the time). A few weeks later he played a never seen before ebony Gibson 355 in Mucky Fingers and Record Machine during some British and European gigs (Frequency Festival in Austria, V Festival in UK, Marlay Park in Ireland, etc). That black beauty, as far as I know, hasn't been seen since. Here's a pic of it:  Now, here comes the question: on the pickguard you can see a black/white sticker, which looks like some kind of Japanese (or maybe Korean?) writing. Has anybody got any idea on what does that mean?  And here's a closer look at it:  |

Another sticker mystery solved then, thanks to Noeldemort!  I made a google search and I found this, which is exactly the same sticker:  It seems to be a pretty common onomatopoeia used in manga and anime. A couple of info on its meaning ( Noeldemort can confirm if this is true or not): "The nuance of this onomatopoeia is similar to "sough" or "murmur", and it's often used to describe the sound of trees soughing, the voices of disturbed people, or an anxious feeling in your heart." "SFX for liveliness, noise, crowd" "SFX for the leaves of a forest moving." |
