This new single is awesome, great song! Doesn't sound so good as the live version, this new production is a bit strange, but I'm enjoying it! Less than two months to the album release, I'm very excited! I've listened to it again and I liked it a tad more. It's good... I mean, it's the typical Stereophonics summer tune. I hope there's also something a bit different on the album. Something like Violins and Tambourines, for example... |

Haven't listened yet, stream is not working here. Listened only to the preview of White Lies on iTunes, looks like a great song. Reminds me a bit of Forever, b-side from You're My Star.
I'm very excited to this album, the reviews are positive, a lot of 4 from 5 stars.

Yeah, the stream isn't working here in Italy either.
The strange thing is that it's really easy to rip the stream but nothing has surfaced yet (except for the usual fake torrent/zip downloads)

I listened to Keep the Village Alive once only. Looks like a good album, a lot of orchestras and arrangements, including great songs like White Lies, Sunny and Mr and Mrs Smith, but it didn't convince me too much. Personally I think it's better only than Keep Calm and Carry On, even Pull the Pin has a bunch of highlights like It Means Nothing, Stone, Lady Luck and Drowning. As a fan, I'll listen again and again and again, but the 1st impression wasn't so impressive. Hope for a better 2nd listen.

Need to say: White Lies, what a song. Great and powerful song. Potential new It Means Nothing or 100mph, brillant. I've only listened to the album once but White Lies was the one that stood out for me. Really liked it. I don't have high expectations for Stereophonics albums these days and this album didn't do anything to change it. Not a bad album, just really safe and a bit dull. I'll give it another few listens but can't say I'm that impressed at the moment. |

Ok, I'm fed up of looking all over the web to find a rip of the iTunes stream. I'll wait, only a few hours to go, right?
It's really strange that no rip has surfaced yet, I thought Stereophonics were a pretty popular band, in UK...
