I downloaded the leak and...nope that's all. You know if you had bought the album, it would have got to number 1 in the Dutch charts. |

Made the mistake of buying his first album before listening to it. That one ended up in a charity shop within weeks.
This time I gave Chasing Yesterday a few listens before deciding not to buy.

I downloaded the leak immediately but of course I bought the deluxe CD on the day of release. I'll buy physical music for as long as it's possible to do so.

i gave in and downloaded leaked version. on release date i bought the cd deluxe edition. and since then have got back into vinyl and bought that as well.
i also bought leave my guitar alone as stand alone track, as it wasnt on my cd version.

I got the CD. Just to support Noel and do the right thing. But since the album in general is too loud, there is this fan remaster floating around on Pirate Bay i've downloaded and heard. I believe its miles ahead of the official release in terms of dynamics and sound quality. I won't post a link because I'm tired of what's been happening around here so if you want to hear it, go look for it yourselves. Just playing it safe. search "chasing yesterday remaster" on the site.

I downloaded the leak first and then bought the Vinyl (which includes the CD) and the Dying of The Light Demo release, for a total of 30 pounds, which I consider a great deal considering I'm on other side of the world (Chile).

I bought the cd deluxe edition, 3 singles, the dyining of the light demo and ITHOTM remixes RSD.
I didn't download the leak, because I love the buying experience in the release day and listening it at home.
I'm not a collector because I can't afford to be it, but I have all the cd singles and cd albums of oasis (incluyed don't go away, and the japanese singles of I'm outta time and falling down + DOYS Deluxe box), beady eye (not singles) and noel (incluided dream on vinyl). And all official dvds.
This is my little and georgeus treasure.

Downloaded it. Did a pre-order for the album, although feeling that the deluxe version (w/a print of lyrics from the album) was really not worth it. The cardboard (because there's really no other way to explain the stock they used for printing) the lyrics came on was really not worth the extra price.  |

Got the vinyl and all the singles so far including RSD and Dying Of The Light Promo.
I avoid leaks as the quality is usually poor, I would rather wait to get the full experience.

I will admit I have downloaded lots of music in my time, but when I really like the music and the artist, I make sure to save up some money to buy the physical copy. Oasis and Noel (and Beady Eye) are some of the artists that I make it a point to buy, because I want to support them. I own all of their albums.  Because I don't have a ton of money, and also because I like supporting my local stores (and also because I unfortunately live in North America where it's much harder to find Oasis stuff), I've found some Oasis albums and singles through second-hand music stores. But I've bought the HFB and BE stuff new, and the Chasing Yesterday deluxe edition the moment it came out.  |

I purchased the Japanese deluxe version. I had to get all the B-sides including Leave my Guitar Alone. I think I paid close to $40 and I don't regret it at all. Love this album!
