Chicago isn't even sold out yet at a small theatre. That's surprising to me.

its been on the wain for a long time , the people ( not on this forum ) want OASIS , i have posted many many times , that the young people dont know the name of the brothers ( the vast majority ) they know the name OASIS ,
noel is non existent here on the radio ,( again solo wise except in rare places )
I cant tell you how many times in florida when noels or bdi first lp broke i would play dumb and ask the workers about noel or bdi and i got blank stares ...then i would say the brothers from oasis and they made the connection
it has happened in texas as well , peopole from the uk and people who love noel in states and bdi simply dont get it ...the youth dont listen or associatte the name gallagher with OASIS
its not a indictment on NOEL its a indictment on how kids taste in music SUX ( for the most part )
EDIT and before people reply noels audience has matured so there is not the demand for tix because his fans dont attend concerts as much anymore
artists like rod stewart , clapton , eltohn john , john mellencamp ,tom petty all have mellowed and aged along with there fans , but can command arenas for 1 night easily of 12,000 or more some can still do multiple nights as well , he definatly is not looked upon as a solo artist who people here want to see enmass .

He should get Oasis back together. At least they would sell out theaters and arenas in some major cities. It's a shame seeing him playing half full joints in the US.He can't tell me that he's enjoying it.

As I've said in another thread somewhere,he's not able to sold out an US tour with so many dates anymore,he's probably playing in all those cities to make sure at least the real fans are able to see him

I'd still shout it out loud like I did last time.

if i'm being honest, i would have to say yes.
but are we really surprised? no television exposure, little to no radio airplay, very little promotion. and who really cares anyway.
by the way, only a few single seats remain for boston.

Fans like us, we don't lose interest. But casual listeners are likely unaware of not too fussed. Maybe they thought he was boring last time because there were no pyrotechnics or choreographed dance numbers.
Their loss.

Noel is considered a holy figure here in Canada! Noel and Oasis have always had a loyal following here in Southern Ontario thanks to CFNY The Edge 102.1 playing their music.

Yeah, I just saw him on facebook talking about remaining tickets for the show I'm going to on the 31st in Michigan.
What's strange for me, is that I've met only one other person my age in real life (I'm 21) who likes Oasis/BE/HFB, but my brother who's 16 has a lot of friends who are into Oasis and Beady Eye/HFB. And it seems people his age seem to be more into rock than when I was in high school from what he's told me. Same with my cousin who's 17 in Virginia.

His management and him do very little interaction or fun with their youtube channel. He won't do opening acts of larger US base acts. Noel's Chasing Yesterday is more a mellow jazz sound album. Sophomore album should been more basic raw sound. I don't mind the album and I have played it over a few dozen of times, because i'm a major longtime fan. All the special releases or what not are in UK not in the US. How can you he drive interest if you never focus in US or interact with them? His management also blown off Coachella,SXSW, lollapalooza,Sasquatch Festival this year as well.

Oasis hasn't been relevant in America in almost 20 years. Not surprised at all. He has a diehard niche audience in the U.S. but so do a lot of UK artists.

Oasis played Madison Square Garden, Staples Center etc on the last tour. If he wants to sell out those Arenas there's only one thing he can do.

Well it turns out I went to Chicago and Milwaukee and the crowds were awesome. All fans of the music and in Chicago people were euphoric.

i've definitely lost interest. Noel's solo stuff is so boring....like MOR adult pop rock. ICK. He's totally lost the plot...
i'd much rather listen to Beady Eye's 2 albums than either of Noel's 2 albums.
