He's been in Beady Eye, played in Gorillaz, played with Damon Albarn's solo stuff and now has appeared twice with Noel. Given Noel was miming on the show, did he really need to replace Tim?

It was a one-time thing, as far as we know. What is Jeff Wooton's role? He's been in Beady Eye, played in Gorillaz, played with Damon Albarn's solo stuff and now has appeared twice with Noel. Given Noel was miming on the show, did he really need to replace Tim? Tim lives in the US and I am sure they wouldnt make him do a trip if they can lipsync everything.
