I prefer the lyrics, the melody and Liam's vocal.

Supersonic has more swagger and Listen Up has more power. Listen Up is a great song but i'll go with Supersonic.

Listen Up, but not by much. I just think the lyrics are better and it works better when done acoustic. Melody and instrumentation wise it's pretty even for me.

Easy:
Listen Up...Supersonic is a great way to introduce themselves but Listen Up is just a better track all around

Obviously, it's the drumming that drives the comparison.
Supersonic soars more and is more euphoric, but Listen Up has the much more meaningful lyrics, with a good solo as well (although I'm not sure I would say better than Supersonic's solo). Supersonic is a beast live, too, though.
I have a feeling Listen Up will win out, but will be close. I'm abstaining from voting atm on this one.

The song's glistening production has such a ethereal sheen, truly other worldly especially taken together with the lyrics ("one fine day, gonna leave you all behind") and Liam's most heart wrentching vocals. Supersonic is tremendous, by all means, and its got the better solo (could listen to the outro all day long) but Listen Up takes the cake here. No contest. |

The song itself I prefer Listen Up. But if you talking about the studio versions then I'd say Supersonic
I absolutely hate the studio version of Listen Up. The production is terrible
