Interesting to hear him say the last Oasis tour wasn't good. I thought the band played pretty well, Sharrock was a good drummer. Just Liam's vocals were atrocious And they (Noel in particular) looked very bored most of the time. And the sound was too polished for Oasis. And they played it too safe with the set list.

The interviewer can ask whatever he wants, I think it was an exaggerated reaction. Probably he was pissed off for other reasons, because the interviewer was really respectful and laid back. I found the interview very nice

I can understand the annoyance when he's just had a very successful album and tour launch both commercially and critically and all people want to talk about is a picture Liam tweeted.
With Beady Eye gone and Liam not really capable of resurrecting his own career, Noel's going to come under a lot of pressure once the HFB cycle is over.

I don't get the point of saying, people are getting rattled. Okay?
The same people doing this "rattled" thing are the same people who get pissed at this forum being divisive. Even if it's meant as a joke, it just comes off as a childish continuation of a petty game.
"Rattled. Mission accomplished" might as well be Liam 1 Noel 0. But obviously the same people doing it will pull the usual, ho him I didn't mean it that way. You're taking this too seriously. Or I support both, it was only a joke.
Erm no, the next time the same people complain about this forum openly rooting for one brother, they should take a look in the mirror. There's only so many times you can hint toward snide comments and it not mean anything. But I wonder, if the roles were reversed if those same members would say, "liam rattled. Mission accomplished". I doubt it. It's childish. But those same members will probably go on about how liam always gets treated and how he's perceived and it feels good to see blah blah. Same song from people who are part of the same hypocritical brigade. The same people who tend to like the same negative comments.

It's not Liam's fault entirely that the Dig Out Your Soul tour was a bit of a damp squib, none of them brought their a-game. Liam can be blamed for some past misdemeanours on tour like the time he went to buy a house rather than tour America, but in the end, it was a collective failure from everyone in 2008/09.
I suppose the signs were there from the start - leaving off Live Forever from the set list was criminal. Still can't believe it.

I think there's a rewriting of 2008/9 going on here. Fantastic performances from May 2009 through to the end of the band, with some very good stuff before that too.

It was a couple of days worth of passive aggressive tweets from Liam. Either way it's silly. Think he's just fed up with the Oasis questions in general. The Only way the questions stop is if he becomes bigger than Oasis and we all know that's never happening.

The Only way the questions stop is if he becomes bigger than Oasis and we all know that's never happening. Or maybe just side tracks them, he was happy to this time and when ever the U2 iTunes Album launch came up (which it did in several interviews) he would side track that answer by saying ask them. He was blatantly keeping quiet as not to slag them off, but then finds it ok to slag Liam off. If he wants to slag Liam in the press then so be it there are brothers, but then people shouldn't get precious about it or when Liam retaliates. I find the whole Noel is successful so he seems to have a right to slag Liam off in 99% of interviews, but cos Liam's not he shouldn't say anything back just get on with making music attitude/reasoning on here really strange.

Noel's taking the piss. While the DOYS Tour was far from perfect, there were some epic gigs like Heaton Park, Slane, etc.
BTW, people still question Morrissey about a Smiths reunion. People asked Ian Brown and John Squire about reforming the Roses even after Squire released that bizarre piece of art saying he wouldn't do so. As we already know Liam's in favor of reforming Oasis and the ball is solely on Noel's court, he's gonna get questions about reforming Oasis until he does so or until he dies/stops making music.
End.

If John Lennon hadn't died, Paul would still be getting asked to this day "are you two gonna start writing together again?"
Oasis is bigger than any of its parts on their own, including Liam and Noel. It must get annoying being asked about it all the time, but in the same vein it must be amazing to realize you've accomplished such a thing, even if it is in the past.

Seems like the talk about Liam and Noel getting on better lately is a bunch of crap. I get the feeling Noel doesn't want to be in a room with his brother ever again. Lots of negative feelings

Lots of negative feelings Noel at the heart of it is a miserable grudge holding vagina who is generally full of himself. I think Liam would start talking to him again and try to make up but Noels just not interested and doesn't really care about him.
