1- wtsmg 2- dm 3- bhn . . .
4- dbtt
*i would slide in the masterplan at either the 3rd or 4th spot, but i don't really consider that to be a 'true' oasis album.

Definitely Maybe. Although a sober Be Here Now would beat it for me.

WTSMG's gotta be my favorite, and best imo. It's the one that got me into Oasis, and I think it's the best for how well each song flows well together. The little Swamp Song excerpts help make that happen, especially with the last one from Morning Glory to Champagne Supernova. Not to mention, this album has a great deal of Oasis' greatest hits (WW, DLBIA, SMS, MG, CS).
If we were to rank the albums, I'd do it like this: 1. MG, 2. DM, 3. DBTT, 4. DOYS, 5. BHN, 6. SOTSOG, 7. HC

Well, I can't understand why anyone would vote for DBTT/HC. Best album? Really?
I think the best two are DM and Morning Glory, but I vote for Morning Glory because it had more classics and the bigger hits. And it also has my favourite song on it.

Definitely Maybe. Although a sober Be Here Now would beat it for me. This guy's got it dead wrong. The real order: 1. Be Here Now 2. Definitely Maybe 3. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? 4. Standing on the Shoulder of Giants 5. Dig Out Your Soul 6. Don't Believe the Truth 7. Heathen Chemistry

1. Definitely Maybe 2. What's The Story 3. Be Here Now 4. Dig Out Your Soul 5. Standing On The Shoulder of Giants 6. Don't Believe The Truth 7. Heathen Chemistry
Albums 4-6 are practically fluid, but as of today that's how they're stacked.
Albums 1-3 and 7 are cemented firmly in place.

1. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? - an extraordinary band at the peak of its powers. Also marks a quite remarkable shift in the bands sound coming off the back of Definitely Maybe - but that, of course, never gets mentioned. 2. Definitely Maybe - the greatest debut album of all time and, I think, the Oasis album with the best flow. 3. Be Here Now - a wonderful mess. The Masterplan - an embarrassment of riches. Round Are Way and D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman? inexplicably left off though. . . . . 4. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants - exactly what was needed after Be Here Now: wonderful sparse production, and some reflective lyrics from Noel. Sadly though, three thoroughly mediocre songs let the side down. 5. Dig Out Your Soul - half of a really great record. 6. Don't Believe The Truth - a pretty good collection of songs. . . . . 7. Heathen Chemistry - shit.

1. DM Favourite of all time 2. WTMG 3. SOTSOG 4. BHN 5. DBTT 6. DOYS
7. HC
The first 4 could all be number 1 they are all great and DBTT was a real return to form and DOYS could have started a proper resurgence for the band if it wasnt for tracks 9-11. To me Heathen Chemistry is just abysmal compared to everything else so dull and uninspired how tht, scyho and lbl save it from being totally unlistenable

Definitely Maybe will always be favourite. It's the most sincere, pure side of the band. Morning Glory is perfect as well, two 15/10 albums for me.
Also can't believe The Masterplan got 0 vote, while HC got one and SOTSOG even got 4. I mean, I get The Masterplan is not really an album but as a collection of songs, it's three stairs above SOTSOG. If you except the two unnecessary tracks, there is not a single bad song on TM, only proofs of Noel's brilliance as a songwriter in the 90's. On the other hand, SOTSOG has 3 mediocre songs (Little James, PYMWYWI and ICSAL), two great songs (GLIO and Gas Panic!) and some good/pretty good songs in between. Albums like DM, WTSMG, TM have not a bad track on it and they have more great songs, what made them so far superior than SOTSOG, imho.

Would say the same for Be Here Now - even though a lot of them are quite flawed recordings, in each one there are numerous things I like, be it Liam's vocal or a strong pre-chorus, or a nice keyboard bit or a particular bit of ripping lead guitar. Songs like I Can See A Liar or Little James, there are only individual aspects of the songs that I like, like a bit of lead guitar that last for about 30 seconds that I like in the whole thing.

Just like the music itself, that album cover is simple but effective, and still stands up today as a timeless piece of art.

I will rank BHN almost along the three I've cited above, though Magic Pie and Be Here Now have flaws but these are ten times better than ICSAL or Little James...
