If nothing else this will hopefully cause Liam to seriously considering starting work on a solo album (if he genuinely hasn't thought about it yet)

I'd be disappointed if this time next year we haven't heard any solid news regarding new material from Liam.
He should test the water with a couple of singles or an EP as soon as he has something worthy or release.

Denied officially, so it's true then.
Good, i hope he makes a raw rock n roll record.

Liam should finally make a proper Rock 'n' Roll album! not in a retro kind of way. I'm not that interested in a Liam solo album. Have never been a fan of his songwriting. However, if he makes an album it needs some edge to it. IMO the two best BE songs were FOTF and FLW.

Why doesn't Paul McCartney collaborate with Liam instead oh shite like Rihanna and Kanye West? I'm not sure I'd want him to to be honest, the form he's been in for the last thirty years or so

Liam should recycle Boys With the Blues, it's a shame this song didn't get a proper release.
I like the way Courtney love described it few years ago, didnt sound at all like the version we've got
Ive faith in Liam, he can come up with a good record on his own.

What if he'll release a solo record wrote all by himself and it will be an amazing double album full of tunes, it will go to #1, sell shitloads, got great reviews, everybody we'll be saying that it's much better than Noel's solo stuff and he'll win the grammy for it ? Just imagine him trying to be modest in the interviews

He should go full american underground and work with the BRMC, BJM and "keep music dangerous"!... and ditch his 90's pop star way of thinking. It's not really rock 'n' roll, is it?

The edge missing in his songwriting is the difference between this song and Soul Love:

If he should go full american underground i don't think he should work with any other famous band that already exists, he should form one and go for a tour with a solid record. That's rock n roll. He kinda a did it last time, but it wasn't very rock n roll. But in terms of what i would like to hear from him, yeah, a proper new in your face rock n roll band, that would be it. Or a great solo album. I'm anti collaborations in Liam's case. It would be cool, but it's not what he needs now.

I think the recognition BRMC has nowadays is as far as you can go with rock n roll music today. Although, as we are on american scene and dreaming on, i just thought there is one collaboration i would love to see Liam doing. Joshua Homme

I think, although I love Liam`s acoustic stuff like "start anew", he should try writing with an electric guitar and an amplifier. He writes on the acoustic guitar and it is something different, so maybe we would get different songs, if he would try writing with something more aggressive. I have never seen him with an electric guitar, but the synched roll with it totp gig.

Why doesn't Paul McCartney collaborate with Liam instead of shite like Rihanna and Kanye West? A Liam Gallagher Paul McCartney collaboration would be so awesome. Just the fact he'd be working with one of his heroes would surely cause him to raise his game considerably. Plus the songs could be credited to Gallagher/McCartney, which looks and sounds good, or even Liam/McCartney

I think he could definitely release a 7/10 album but he won't! If he can't put up with the 'low key' of BE with mates around him, he won't take the risk of a flop on his own. I'm sure of it!

It might be worth risking though. With one good album he can buy himself an artistic independence for the rest of his life, save his pride, work a lot on his ego, and change the way world will be seeing and remember him forever. If you're reading Liam. Keep it ... you know. DANGEROUS. F.P. x
