Back home from the gig. What a night! To be 100% honest I didn't love the sound mix (I think the guitars were mixed a tad low) but Noel was on fire and the crowd was great (apart from the usual beer-throwing morons). The current setlist is quite awesome: Champagne Supernova was HUGE and the whole crowd went fucking crazy during Digsy's Dinner! Actually I have to admit that all the weakest songs (Dream On, The Mexican and Digsy's) sound excellent when played live. I was standing just behind the lights technicians. I realized only during DLBIA that Sara was right in front of me! Noel dedicated You Know We Can't Go Back to her. Does Sarah follow him everywhere on tour? She seems to be at every single gig Only in nice places, I guess. Milan, Rome, Los Angeles, New York, Paris. Don't Think you'll see her in Fukuoka or Detroit or Düsseldorf, with all the due respect

It's a shame that we'll never see pro shots of this...

Best audience ever. First time Noel ever has released the chorus to EOTR?! Amazing. I think so, but I might be wrong. When he let us sing the chorus of EOTR the whole place went crazy!

Do The Damage - I have to say I wasn't THAT impressed after watching Youtube videos, but it fucking rocks live, great opener The Wrong Beach - Not his best song, but it's a great sing-along chorus, it deserves a place in the setlist after all Everybody's On The Run - TUUUUUUNEEEEEEEE Noel even let us sing the chorus Blew the roof off the fucking place, they smashed it with this one Fade Away - When you get the whole place singing along to a b-side from 20 years ago, you've done it right ITHOTM - Was one of the highlights for me, it's miles better live THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE THAT YOU WANT IT Lock All The Doors - I feel like it wasn't AS good as the other heavier tunes in the set, but it was good enough, another great sing-along chorus as well, Noel's guitar was a bit low in the mix tho, at least from where I was standing, so I couldn't hear the solo properly Riverman - Again, the crowd absolutely loved the chorus, I think they're starting to get it right The Death Of You And Me - After a bad performance in Paris this one was pretty fucking good YKWCGB - This was AMAZING, BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC, AWESOME, UNBELIEVABLE, MEGA, I'd like to go back though, thanks CS - Well, what can I say? It was an emotional moment, it's great when a song means the world to both the crowd and the singer, there's something special in the air Mighty I - I think it's fair to say this is one of Noel's best vocals, the band was great as well, no need to say the crowd was jumping and knew every word Dream On - Surprisingly, as it's my less favourite song in the set, this was pretty good, nice one Noely Broken Arrow - I love it, so it was good to hear it, apparently I wasn't the only one in the room who loves it The Dying Of The Light - Everyone I know seems to love this one, so the crowd reaction was no surprise, Noel's vocals were spot on, great solo Tim! The Mexican - It's funny how this song is nothing special on the album, but it's one of the highlights live, Noel seems to really enjoy it too, as much as he can look like he's enjoying something of course, which it's not too much Digsy's Dinner - A funny and happy song like this, on a saturday night in Italy...you know what I mean don't you? If I Had A Gun - W.O.W. DLBIA - I died during this one, it's my ghost who's writing now No really, I recorded part of it, and when I listened to it after the gig, it brought tears to my eye What A Life - nothing to say apart for...WHAT A LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE The Masterplan - I don't know, there's something meaningful about closing with this one, even if it's not the masterplan what we're all part of, for that hour and a half it feels like we're all together and we're all part of something, something quite special actually As you can see it wasn't that boring at all, at least not for me Noel was on top top top top form, he smiled and joked with the crowd a lot, the band looked like they were really enjoying it too I probably got the order wrong, at least from 11 to 16, so sorry for that, and sorry for my English as always

Why are you all liking my post, cause it's a positive review and you're fanboys eh? Cause you had a great time. Anything Oasis related in Italy is a unique experience. That's not gonna change, despite any critisism towards Noel.

Wow, seems like it was a great gig. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Did anyone record it? I hope the gigs in Germany won't fall too short after this...But I'll enjoy it anyway Still, after reading your enthusiastic reviews, I'm actually thinking about buying tickets for an italian gig next time Oh and I was wondering, since Noel seems to enjoy italian gigs that much, why does he only play one gig there? And someone said the venue is rather small, surely he could play more nights then. Whereas in Germany he plays two nights in quite big venues (which aren't sold out yet).

Era solo un'ipotesi per spiegarmi come mai il management abbia preferito il Fabrique all'Alcatraz. Al Rock in Roma ahimé vengono per i Muse, non per Noel. Sono in due serate diverse They play on two different nights I'm actually surprised he is headlining as he was just opening for RHCP in 2012 at Heineken Jammin’ Festival. Is he the only act of that evening?

Spot on everything you wrote. This gig is already a classic. Goosebumps on the videos. He nearly released YKWCGB chorus aswell (you can see him pointing to us in the audience. YKWCGB was AMAZING. I feel sorry for everyone who wasn't there. I even started crying a bit at some point (AKA WAL, I think).

Wow, censuring a compliment for Noel´s wife?? I know. It's absolutely disgraceful. That was probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said to or about Sara. Especially from such a well respected figure as your good self. Which Bronte sister was it quoted from?

When In Heat Of The Moment came out, I wasn't very impressed. But yesterday night version...that song and Lock All The Doors deserve a stadium. Unbelievable. Best post-Oasis gig I've attended, of both Noel's and Liam's. The first time since August 2009 that I was left with completely no voice at the end. And I have to admit that embracing strangers while singing Fade Away definitely brought me back to those days. Really enjoyed it.

4 gigs in Italy, 3 are big headline slots, Rock in Roma one in particular. But he won't sold out Because festivals in Italy aren't like in England, i bought tickets for Arctic Monkeys at Pistoia Festival (8-9k capacity) two days before the gig last summer, enough said.
Last tour played Milan Alcatraz (2.700), Rome Atlantico (3/4.000), Bologna Paladozza (5.500) and Florence Obihall (1.400) as solo gigs. Plus Heineken Jammin' Festival, 5 gigs. You really can't do more in Italy as in the south nobody books gigs.
4 gigs by now, he'll play Rome again for sure.
